Jump5 was an American dance-pop/contemporary Christian group.

History

Jump5 began when then-two-year-old Brittany Hargest and four-year-old brother Brandon met four-year-old Lesley Moore at dance class. In time, they were joined by Libby Hodges and Chris Fedun on the talent show and recital circuit. Having formed fast friendships, it was only natural that the talented teens of Jump 5 would create a group of their own. They started Jump5 in 1999.

Jump5 toured with Aaron Carter, Play, A*Teens, Baha Men, Zoegirl, No Secrets, Nobody's Angel, Dream Street, ATC, Youngstown, Radio Disney Live, as well as two headline tours. The group sold over 1.5 million copies before disbanding.

On October 9, 2007 Jump5 released a final album entitled Hello & Goodbye with Slanted Records, featuring the titular song, "Hello Goodbye", with former Jump5 member Libby Hodges. Jump5 also embarked on a final headlining tour coinciding with the album. The tour lasted 25 dates and they played to over 45,000 people during the tour. The tour ended in Nashville, Tennessee on December 16, 2007 at Rocketown.

Jump5 released a new Christmas album Christmas Like This exclusively through major digital outlets on November 20, 2007. The album features songs from the group's 2005 indie release Rock This Christmas, but all the tracks have been re-recorded and remixed and are completely different than the originals, with the exception of one song.

Brandon and Brittany Hargest have now formed the group Guest. Their debut Perfect EP is available on iTunes, Amazon and all digital music sites. Their full length record titled "Change Of Scenery" came out in December 2010. They went on tour with 7eventh Time Down in December 2010 for the "Rock Before Christmas" tour. Brittany Hargest signed a deal with Soul Stride Records (EMI Gospel) in February 2011. Her debut solo record will release September 27, 2011.

Their song Spinnin' Around was used to promote the video game Disney's Extreme Skate Adventure.

Jump5 officially disbanded on Sunday, December 16, 2007. Brother and sister Brandon & Brittany Hargest started an indie rock band called Guest. Member Chris Fedun started acting, as well as making his own music and his own clothing line called "Fedora". Lesley married her longtime boyfriend Daniel Sawyer in 2009 and plans to start a career in country music and have a family.
