Requests for registration
Please read the guide on the main page before requesting permission. In applying for AWB access, you indicate that you will abide by its terms.
Also, this page is for requesting AWB Access for this wiki (English Wikipedia) only. Other projects have their own check pages and you should ask administrators there to add you.
Please add your name to the bottom of the list using *
. Enter your user name exactly as it is, do not add underscores instead of spaces or change the case of the first letter.
{{AWBUser|your username}}

If the list contains undecided entries that are over 48 hours old, please add
to the top of this page.
{{Admin backlog}}
Note that users with under 500 mainspace non-automated edits are rarely approved. You only need to give a reason for wanting AWB access if you have fewer than 500 mainspace non-automated edits.
If approved, your name will be added to the CheckPage.

- Thompson.matthew (talk • contribs • non-automated contribs • wikichecker • count • total • logs • page moves • block log • email) I intend to help work of some of these tasks, as well as improve some Western Australia articles when there are many other people new page and recent change patrolling. 09:35, 20 August 2011 (UTC)
- I would like to see at least 400 article edits that are not just tagging or reverts, to demonstrate the constructive editing skills. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 10:39, 20 August 2011 (UTC)
- I think that should be written on the request page, as I wouldn't have requested it if it did. All I see is 500 mainspace edits. Doesn't matter. --Matthew Thompson talk to me bro! 13:46, 20 August 2011 (UTC)
- BengaliHindu (talk • contribs • non-automated contribs • wikichecker • count • total • logs • page moves • block log • email) I need AWB for managing repetitive tasks like putting invitation notices on editor's talk pages for organizing Wikipedia meetups and workshops in Kolkata 15:20, 22 August 2011 (UTC).

- Decstop (talk • contribs • non-automated contribs • wikichecker • count • total • logs • page moves • block log • email) 03:18, 24 August 2011 (UTC) Nothing specific in mind, I will use this tool for general clean up of articles
- Not done Since you don't have anything specific in mind, please come back to us when you meet the general application threshold of 500 mainspace edits. --Philosopher Let us reason together. 12:08, 24 August 2011 (UTC)

- Why do you want to use AWB? You need to give a reason if you have fewer than 500 mainspace edits - you currently have 420. (You can check how many mainspace edits you have at http://toolserver.org/~soxred93/pc/Miguel%2BAG.)Philosopher Let us reason together. 12:14, 24 August 2011 (UTC)
- I plan to use AWB in stub-sorting and copy-editing. Miguel AG(talk) Review me! 13:51, 24 August 2011 (UTC)
- Also my current mainspace edit count is now 873. Miguel AG(talk) Review me! 12:09, 26 August 2011 (UTC)
- I'm going to reserve judgment on this one. Generally we automatically approve requests from people with over 500 edits, but the recent rash of responses to his recent vandalism reverts makes me wonder... If another admin wants to take a look at this, I'm going to (sorry) punt on this one. --Philosopher Let us reason together. 22:49, 26 August 2011 (UTC)

- Not done You only have 32 articles in the article space; I'd really like to see much more experience in the article space before access is granted to this tool. Skier Dude (talk) 04:51, 28 August 2011 (UTC)

- Not done. You only have 138 edits to mainspace (600 live edits in total); except in unusual circumstances, users with fewer than 500 edits in the article namespace will not be added to the list. Salvio Let's talk about it! 22:43, 2 September 2011 (UTC)
