Picture

I know we have to find a "free" picture for this article, but can we please replace the one that is on the article now. Its terribly dark and too small. Milonica (talk) 04:31, 19 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I was just about to say the same thing when I noticed it, but looks like you beat me to it. Gemini4t (talk) 22:38, 14 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

what "critical acclaim"? her "performance" in recount was ott and ridiculous —Preceding unsigned comment added by 97.104.121.114 (talk) 14:32, 31 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Note: There is an error in this article. It shows Laura Dern winning an award for Jurrasic Park in 1991. The movie was not released until 1993. This needs to be corrected.

Birth Year

The article text states that Dern was 13 during the time of a movie being shot in 1981 but her birth year is put forth as 1957. One of those is incorrect, IMDB suggests her birth year is 1967. Finchna (talk) 15:47, 10 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

New Picture

She looks like she's being forced to smile at gunpoint.

Can we get one that isn't hilarious? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Doubledragons (talkcontribs) 19:20, 2 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Seriously. It's like an Egon Schiele. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.205.229.98 (talk) 20:26, 24 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Incorrect filmography

The quote: "Dern's starring role in Blue Velvet was a breakthrough though her next notable film, Wild at Heart, took almost four years to be released." is not very encylopedic. It gives the impression that she appeared in only minor roles, but she in fact appeared in 2 major motion pictures and several other projects.
