Plot
Karuvarai pookkal the FIRST TAMIL FILM ABOUT TRANSGENDERS, is a Docu Featutre film. It proclaims the pathetic life and folklore of the transgenders in India espcially in Tamil nadu.It tells the critical situation of the family, where a transgender child born. And also it says about the difficulties and taboos of brought up that child.And also the subject goes on dealing with the pathetic life after becoming the transgender.
Gopi(Julia Robert alias Robert), a real Transgender,acted as a transforming transgender from child hood to adulthood.After his adult hood withTransgender transformation surgery, Smile Vidya alias saravanan another reals transgender took the remaining prat of Gopi and named as Gopika.Ninety percent of the roles are played by the real transgenders all over from India.Pallavi took the mother role.Aswatha as sister and Haris as brother. Music done by Music Director Thomas Rathnam[4], [5]. He was also known as Isai Aruvi Thomas Rathnam . He is an upcoming music composer from India. He has done TamilThoppul kodi,karuvaa paiyaa,Ettigal, English , Kannada Banna banna da loka,Parvathy pura , Hindi films, serials and documentaries. He already released few Englsih albums Waves,Yes we can. Few English and urdu albums going to be released soon Mera bayee.

It is really hard to find the artistes. And also it was really a challenge to make use of the real transgenders, Though they are really a good performers, it was little bit struggle to make use of them. Any how the project as done for the sake of the transgender. It is the FIRST TAMIL FILM ABOUT TRANSGENDERS
