Awesome.

Eh. Awesome as in you are going to be more active? KnowledgeOfSelf | talk 04:04, 6 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Awesome as in there was like 90 messages after I was dead and gone talking about images from an era where we weren't so paranoid. Redwolf24 (talk) 04:09, 6 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah I saw em thanks to that handy watchlist. Well if you're not going to be active again, it's still cool to see you drop by. KnowledgeOfSelf | talk 04:12, 6 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Somebody on Wikipedia likes short shorts, per the corollary to my first law. Titoxd(?!? - cool stuff) 04:26, 6 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No one in the site has ever had a problem with vandals. The problems are trolls (though if you don't take things too seriously you should be okay), POV warriors, but most of all how much people seem to dislike eachother here. Like actually dedicated users really dislike eachother a lot. It's kinda sad. Redwolf24 (talk) 04:51, 6 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Meh true, true, but hey I like Tito, and hey I like RedWolf24 too, all is not lost, just most of it. :p KnowledgeOfSelf | talk 04:55, 6 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Dispute on FGC

Hi. I am having a dispute with a user on FGC. I noticed your previous contribution and hoped you might provide some third-party commentary on a dispute at Blackworm’s objections. Your opinion would be greatly appreciated. Thank You. Phyesalis (talk) 01:39, 30 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No problem, thanks for the suggestion! Phyesalis 02:29, 1 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:DBBOTD.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:DBBOTD.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 06:56, 1 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Unspecified source for Image:Alexwebb.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Alexwebb.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 04:34, 22 April 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? Kelly hi! 04:34, 22 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Invitation to Meetup/Seattle6, a focus group

Hello. I'm part of a research group at the University of Washington (Seattle campus), and my group is reaching out to Wikipedians in the Puget Sound area. We're hosting a focus group designed to gather information on what Wikipedians would like to know about each other when interacting on Wikipedia. Our end goal is to create an embedded application that helps people quickly know more about others' history and activity on Wikipedia, and we feel our design will be much more useful if it's based on insights of users like you.

I'm hoping that the chance to help out local researchers, to engage in lively face-to-face discussion with other Seattle Wikipedians, and to contribute to Wikipedia in a new way will entice you to join us. The session lasts 2 hours and snacks are provided. Sessions will be held on UW Seattle campus - directions will be sent after registration. Your contribution will be greatly appreciated!

Willing and able to help us out? RSVP here. Want to know more? Visit our user talk page . Please help us contact other local Wikipedians, too! Commprac01 (talk) 01:29, 16 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

re Barnstar

So I was glancing through my userpage and I saw a barnstar you left for me many moons ago.

"I, Redwolf24 hereby award you this barnstar for several reasons: You have over 8000 edits, you're funny, any wikipedian who's been around for more than a week should recognize you, I haven't seen you being uncivil, and you are all around a great user."

Is that true? Would any wikipedian recognize me? :P I always thought I flew a bit under the radar, my two runs for office notwithstanding. Anyway, I probably thanked you before, but belated thanks again. --Golbez (talk) 22:16, 10 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your time and consideration. As a gesture of appreciation, may I share a rhetorical question from the Analects of Confucius: "Is it not pleasant to learn with a constant perseverance and application?" --Tenmei (talk) 00:13, 19 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Mentorship

The Revision History of Wikipedia:Mentorship records your participation the article's development; and for this reason, I am reaching out to you.

Please consider reviewing my edit at Wikipedia:Mentorship#Unintended consequences. In the search for a mentor deemed acceptable by ArbCom, I plan to cite this as a useful context for discussing what I have in mind. --Tenmei (talk) 21:14, 14 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Notification of pending suspension of administrative permissions due to inactivity

Following a community discussion in June 2011, consensus was reached to provisionally suspend the administrative permissions of users who have been inactive for one year (i.e. administrators who have not made any edits or logged actions in over one year). As a result of this discussion, your administrative permissions will be removed pending your return if you do not return to activity within the next month. If you wish to have these permissions reinstated should this occur, please post to the Wikipedia:Bureaucrats' noticeboard and the userright will be restored per the re-sysopping process (i.e., as long as the attending bureaucrats are reasonably satisfied that your account has not been compromised and that your inactivity did not have the effect of evading scrutiny of any actions which might have led to sanctions). This removal of access is procedural only, and not intended to reflect negatively upon you in any way. We wish you the best in future endeavors, and thank you for your past administrative efforts.
