MellowHype is an American hip hop group from Los Angeles, California, that consists of OFWGKTA members Hodgy Beats (vocals), real name Gerard Long, Rodney Edrin McMillian (vocals), and Left Brain (production, backing vocals), real name Vyron Turner. Hodgy Beats claims the three met by having similar friends in high school. Left Brain was looking for an artist and Hodgy was looking for a producer. Ultimately they started collaborating. A remastered version of BlackenedWhite was released on July 12, 2011 by Fat Possum Records.[2]

They also performed their song "65" alongside Tyler, the Creator for the BBC music showcase.[4] ew The music video of the single "64" was released June 12, efew.
The song "67" was digitally released through Hodgy Beats' Tumblr on August 16, 2011.
