Your birthday wishes...

That is one delicious cake. (wonder if you have the recipe for it!).

You are one of the kindest, helpful person I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. You are also the very first person to post a message on my talk page. Something I won't forget. Thanks again. --hydkat 05:41, 29 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

And btw... A very happy first edit day... Instead of postin a picture of a cookie... heres a recipe to my favourite type of cookies: Choclate Chip Cookies! Marsha's Absolutely Sinful Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies

Happy wiki-birthday Sango, and thanks for the esperanza welcome. It's amazing, but when I walked into the alerts page, there are two other physics pHd students there in the midst of exams and seminar examinations. Regards, Blnguyen | Have your say!!! 01:15, 31 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

User Page Design

Hi Sango, though we've never spoken before I've been viewing your page for a little while aho and I absolutely love the design, great job. I myself am 15, so it's good to see another teenage designer with an eye for good design. I was wondering if you could possibly work on a new design for my user page, something simple like yours, two columns. I have a ton of userboxes, so a column for those would be appreciated. anyway, if you do decide to help me I'd be grateful, and look forward to seeing what you can come up with.

btw, though I'm a designer I've been having trouble coming up with something nice for my page. all of my work is pure CSS and xHTML, so it's been hard for me to create a good design within the WP limits --«Θ» zeerus 18:23, 29 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your response. I really prefer blue as a general color scheme, but not straight up blue, an off color of it. I really have been going more for monotone designs lately, especially white on black layouts. whatever you think looks good, nothing too distracting. two columns is perfect. I also love your indented lines, would love to see a similar userbox on my page up at the top where I can link to my websites. as for the blue, kind of like the color used for the links to your profile options at the very top of the WP window, or the blue used in the editing buttons (B, I, AB, etc.). Thanks for your help. --«Θ» zeerus 13:07, 30 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
The new design looks excellent, thanks so much for all your help. I have one question, I recently installed your monobook.js and monobook.css files on my account. Is there any way to remove the popups on hover all together. I just find them really disruptive. they also break the lovely design you made. I would, however, like to keep all the other goodies, just remove the navpopups by Lupin, I believe. I tried doing it myself, and even managed to modify the look, but it still breaks the design. so could you remove them all together for me? thanks --«Θ» zeerus 03:57, 2 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your help. I checked it out and it seems that you removed the exact same bit as I did, only when I did it the NavPopups wouldn't go away. maybe I forgot to clear my cache. I have one final request, Edit links for each individual section, and a talk page layout to go with the new design. Thanks for all your help, hopefully I'm not being too bothersome --«Θ» zeerus 11:19, 4 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

How to find pages I created?

Sorry to ask yet anothe question, but in the same subject of edit counters, is there a way to view a list of pages I created, i.e. new articles I started? I see lots of people list this on their user pages. Should I have kept track of this as I went along? They aren't even marked N in my list of contribtions! Many thanks, JRawle (Talk) 21:22, 29 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your answer, even if it was to tell me there's no easy way! I might write a script to do this – I think it would be a useful tool to have available. JRawle (Talk) 12:54, 31 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Dera Sango,

This vandal/user, whom you earlier rebuked, is back at it.

Monobook

Hey Sango, I was wondering if I was doing the javascript right on my monobook. I'm familiar with javascripts on HTML, but not on Wikipedia... —Mirlen 04:08, 28 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks Sango :). Instead of typing in &-mdash; , I can just type in -- and it's automatically suppose turn into —, right? --Mirlen 05:06, 28 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
'Night, but slight problem. It's not working :P. --Mirlen 05:06, 28 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I get it now, yeah, it's working (and I'm learning). Also, where do I change my status? Is a tab suppose to appear somewhere on the page? Sorry if I'm asking a lot of questions, just bear with this javascript newbie of a girl! Oh, and thanks—I'm really honored that a great designer like you should like mine's :). (And I really do mean it with all my honor! Btw, I'm on Firefox right now, and your userpage looks way coole (not that it didn't look cool in IE, mind you)—I didn't know the edges wouldn't round off in IE). Oh yeah, may I steal your 'Show archived discussion' layout—except I'll use the headings I'm using on my userpage to keep it formatted with my layout... —Mirlen 23:42, 28 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, that means I'll need the code for the toolbox as well. *looks over at unfinished homework* Better work on that first and then start with the js. Thanks, Sango for letting me steal ;). —Mirlen 23:56, 28 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Um, no, the status changer isn't appearing. Gosh, am I being a bit bothersome in my troubles? —Mirlen 03:42, 30 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you, Sango, for your kind words, actions, and patience. And for bearing with this user with her lack of js knowledge and helping her through with it. 감사합니다 :). Mirlen
Thank you so much, Sango! It's working now :). Here's a rose your troubles:
Thanks for the chocolate as well. Anyway, I don't know if you can read the characters, but it's one of the ways to say 'Thank you' in Korean. —Mirlen 04:01, 30 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
What do the Chinese characters say? —Mirlen 04:30, 30 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Well then, 谢谢 :). —Mirlen 22:01, 30 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks

Thanks for the revert...I wonder what simpleton vandalized it this time? Lol. — Deckiller 03:23, 31 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Notice on my Talk Page

Wow, if that message was in response to the "leet" article then BRAVO for your amazing responsiveness! I'm only a year older than you but amazed at your status here in the Wikipedia community. I was trying to get a good April Fools' joke; obviously I've gotta think of something more subtle and less, for lack of a better word, "loud". --72.144.173.6 04:28, 1 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I hope to find the ideal prank very soon...if all goes well, it'll go down in this year's April Fools' BJAODN! And I certainly understand the heightened search for Vandalism on today (although technically it's not yet April Fools where I live) (my original prank was to replace Wikipedia's article on Wikipedia with a l33t version of it, but, A) the warning message in the comments scared me off and B) my computer froze when trying to convert that much text!). --Treec 04:53, 1 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hey :)

New user, and you or your autoscript or whatnot left me a welcome message; wanted to say thanks. 'Sreal thoughtful of you :) Ahayweh 04:40, 1 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sango321

How about you put a link on your page something like, "Here is how to send me email"? The impression I am getting from you people is you that you are afraid to someone is out to get you. Go to my page Sango321 and see how the rest of us live? With emails and names. OK, Now you can wipe your page clean. The page is: www.IHateWikipedia.com Are you offended? Oh no, call in the grief councilors.

A am able to edit, until I decide to have a name. You don't like IHateWikipedia.com so Sango 231 says I can't edit now. My crime? My name. My Lord it is easy to get banned around here. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.214.202.204 (talkcontribs) 04:56, 1 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

That's strange... A link on e-mailing me is provided twice on User:Sango123, once in the toolbox in the left navigation panel (E-mail this user) and once within the body of my user page (Contact: Talk page or e-mail). By the way, User:Sango321 has been blocked indefinitely as an imposter, and it might help to read our policy on inappropriate usernames. Sango123 (e) 05:06, 1 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well that's all fine and good that you can find it, but who is this page for? Can you identify the users here? Is this a page to make Sango312 happy, or for the users of Wikipedia?

I was banned because I picked a name. I couldn't use the name, it wouldn't appear in what people could see, you could have tracked me with my IP instead of my name. If I can't have the name, let me use my IP address then. The simple act of trying to get the name got me banned.

Identify the offending post that got me banned and be honest about it, and address my questions directly, if you would.

Sango312, it appears I changed your RuneScape links policy. (See my IHateWikipedia.com page) Let's get this over with so we can get on with our lives. How do I get unbanned?

Concede Sango132. I think this one is mine. Why don't you unban me?

Game over, I am unbanned. Have a nice life Sango213. I cannot for the life of me find any Wikipedia Jokes. Can you email me Sango if you know of any? Just use my www.IHateWikipedia.com page to do that. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.214.202.204 (talkcontribs)

Hi Sango123, I have a problem with a user, Icemanofbarcelona (talkcontribs), who is removing interwiki links to articles in certain languages. I suspect it's politically motivated as he seems to be Catalonian, and tends to remove links to the Spanish articles. He also sometimes removes links to Asian languages, for reasons I'm not sure of (maybe they show the Spanish flag on articles about Catalonia). Is there an official warning template for people who do this? I've used {{test1a-n}} so far. If he continues, I'll use generic vandalism warnings and then put his name on Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism. Thanks, JRawle (Talk) 12:34, 1 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Greetings

Hey there, how are you doing? I'm back from my lengthly wikibreak, and since Gryffindor has effectively clinched his RfA (fine candidate would you agree?) I'm ready to get back to the admin coaching full time again. :) Regards Banez 15:18, 1 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Lol, nice...and thanks for the wb. Banez 19:11, 1 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Vandals

I like the addition of red to your userpage; brings attention to it. >:) _-M o P-_ 19:26, 1 April 2006 (UTC) [reply]

It took me a whole 2 minutes to make that userbox. Anyway, just something to scare off the newcomers (and for April Fool's). I'll remove it if you want. _-M o P-_ 19:31, 1 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
What? You slipped by my defences? *gasp* And for some strange reason, l33tsp34k doesn't suit you :P _-M o P-_ 19:35, 1 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

A stunning moment

Thanks!

I was puzzled just now to log on and find a notice saying I had a message, only to find no message. Then I saw what had happened. That was the first time I have been vandalised. Interesting! Thanks for mopping up for me. Cheers! SilkTork 21:25, 1 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Haha, lol, Sango. Anyway Happy April Fool's Day to you too—so that little smilie! :D —Mirlen 21:26, 1 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Stalked pages

It's too bad you had an interface modification on, because for the rest of us, the "my watchlist" text in the upper right actually did turn to "stalked pages". Still, glad you got a screenshot at all, I neglected to get one. --Cyde Weys 00:15, 2 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I Like the User Page Layout

Thanks for the welcome, whether automated or not. I'm quite impressed by your user page template. I planned to grab it and send you a thanks, but instead ran into a widely puzzling code consisting of nested references that I don't think I could untangle without inadvertantly altering one or more of the modules involved (I learn through experimentation), and so I'm asking for a little help in adopting your userpage layout. Let me know whether you have time or not.

Thanks, -Diabolic.Insidious — Preceding unsigned comment added by Diabolic.Insidious (talkcontribs) 09:36, 2 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks

I thank you for your kind gesture of working on my user page. You are most welcome to initiate the same. Thanks again. --Bhadani 15:23, 2 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yes Sango, this will depend on your convenience. Thanks. --Bhadani 15:51, 2 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Cocktail

I thought I'd let you know that the cocktail that you gave to Redux turns out not to be free. I've swapped it for some flaming cocktails, the closest free version I could find but you might like to change it to something else. BigBlueFish 17:45, 2 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

a BIG THANK YOU

A Barnstar!
The Barnstar of Diligence

dear Sango, how are you? My candidature for administrator has passed with 88/3/1 votes. I was very surprised myself about the amount of support and touching comments that users left about me. Without you and Banes it would not have been as easy. You two are amazing and the coolest coaches ever, and for all your efforts and help I am deeply humbled and grateful. For your effort and work, I hereby award you The Barnstar of Diligence. Please let me know if you need any help or drop by and comment on how my work is doing. Thank you, with kind regards and three cheers from Gryffindor 07:57, 3 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

My RfA

Hello Sango123: Thank you for supporting me in my RfA, which passed with a final tally of 77/3/0. I hope I can perform at the standards expected for administrators. If I make any mistakes, or you need anything, please let me know. Prodego talk 01:45, 4 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

mono... what?

hi Sango, thank you. Oh god, I always like a complete idiot next to you, what is this monobook thing you provided for me? I'll try to find out. I will start mopping soon, but I would like to walk carefully first, don't wanna do anything wrong already on my first week. Thanks for your help and Banes, I hope that one day I can also provide some coaching for anyone who needs it, need to learn more first and gather experience... :-) Gryffindor 07:51, 4 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the code

I've used my mad cut-and-paste coding skills to personalize your userpage layout and I've got it up and running on my userpage. Thanks for providing me with the editable code. Diabolic 09:41, 4 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
