I am requesting permission to edit the "Sleeper Agent (band)" page only. I am a blood relative of the bassist and would like to update the page with pictures and background information about the band that doesn't violate the band's privacy. The pictures I am adding will either be my own, or cited pictures borrowed from a photographer. It is also in my interest to add information to the page over time as I see fitting. I would also like to note this is the only page i request access to at this point in time. Thanks Mgsclair (talk) 20:12, 13 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I just created an article for Grant Stinchfield. I need to uppercase his last name in the aticle title Drewclifton8 (talk) 20:46, 13 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I don't expect the article to stick around long: just being a candidate does not make one notable enough to have an encyclopedia article. It's a common mistake at this time of year (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 21:21, 13 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Not done The article has been deleted, ergo no need for logo. Skier Dude (talk) 02:34, 18 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
As a living relative of Calvin Maglinger I have found changes made to the page both by individuals and automatically. In one such automatic case a jpg file of my father was deleted and I would like to have that put back. There were also comments in the Talk section of people claiming to have rights over my father's paintings and giving them to the public domain. I know of no such person able to do that who is willing to do that. Pmaglinger (talk) 13:55, 16 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
This is not the page to deal with that. Go to WP:REFUND to restore an image and consider tagging any images that violate copyright for speedy deletion. See WP:CSD for help on doing that. You may also wish to check out WP:COI.—cyberpower (Chat)(WP Edits: 517,188,617) 01:02, 17 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Not done Although I advise you to be careful with WP:COI, I understand the desire to "fix" situations related to relatives. I highly encourage you to discuss the concerned edits on the article talkpage - be careful not to use arguments such as "he's my father, and what I say goes" :-) Wikipedia overall works on WP:CONSENSUS and reliable sourcing. With respect WP:COPYRIGHT, you seem to have a mix of issues: first, the image you say was deleted needs to have the correct release to Wikipedia via the right licencing, yet at the same time you're arguing that other images are not properly licenced. Obviously, these polar opposites must have some form of resolution, and I'm certain that through positive discussion on the article talkpage you will be able to resolve many of them. As noted, however, none of this require the "confirmed" status, nor does it require a trip to WP:REFUND. If you have future questions or need assistance, please do feel free to contact me directly and I will try and point you in the right direction (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 13:07, 17 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  •  Not done Hi, and thank you for creating an account to edit Wikipedia. Although I fully understand your desire to dive right in, many of our articles are semi-protected because they are controversial, prone to vandalism, or other reasons. As a new editor with few edits, it might be wise to discuss your edits on the article talkpage in order to gain consensus for your edits, or use {{Edit semi-protected}} to request the edit be performed. I only recommend this until you're used to the challenges of reliable sources, the biographies of living persons policy, and other similar things. The good news is that fewer than 5% of Wikipedia articles are protected; this means that 95% of the articles can use your help right now! (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 10:28, 17 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I have done quite a few edits but only see three listed on the contributions page.

I would like to correct what I consider a significant error on the semi-protected "Orange" (the fruit) page. One of the illustrations of fruit is captioned "Satsuma", but clearly the fruit depicted is a mineola tangelo. This error misinforms countless persons as I would imagine that this page is high use one.

I was a commercial grower of citrus fruit here in Florida for 25 years, and satsumas were one of my main crops. For further reference, I hold a Ph.D. in History and currently am a faculty member at the University of Florida.

It is a part of India not Pakistan. Basically that is a disputed land that comes under Indian territory known as POK ( Pakistan-occupied Kashmir)

according to UN conventions of internal boundaries and international laws. Gilgit-Baltistan is still a part of Union of India and there is nothing called azad kashmir officially. So it needs to be edited
