File:Alice Table 1.jpg missing description details

Dear uploader: The media file you uploaded as File:Alice Table 1.jpg is missing a description and/or other details on its image description page. If possible, please add this information. This will help other editors to make better use of the image, and it will be more informative for readers.

If the information is not provided, the image may eventually be proposed for deletion, a situation which is not desirable, and which can easily be avoided.

If you have any questions please see Help:Image page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 12:07, 6 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Images from Sun-Tec

Hello Dshavit, it has been brought to my attention that several images, perhaps all of them, that you have uploaded to here and at Commons have been taken, or also appear in some form, from the website sun-tec.ch. Without some proof that either you took these images or that Sun-Tec will freely release them, they must be deleted as potential copyright violations. The best thing to do would be to read Commons:OTRS and Commons:Email templates, and for a responsible party at Sun-Tec to send a message to the email address listed in the second link (using an email address that is obviously attached to the company). If you have any questions, and if/when the email is sent, please let me know. Huntster (t @ c) 23:06, 5 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Hunster, Thank you! My Name is Daniel Shavit and I am the owner of www.sun-tec.ch. Consequently I am the owner of these pics. Any remaining problem?

Hello Daniel. Please understand that, since Wikipedia and Commons is an anonymous platform and we have no way of proving someone's identity, we cannot simply "take your word" for something like this. By sending an email from your company email address to the OTRS address, it alleviates such concerns. Mind you, the template at the second link above is just an example, and the email can be worded in whatever way you wish, so long as a license for the images are explicitly mentioned. You may want to say something like "All images uploaded by 'User:Dshavit' belong to myself or Sun-Tec, and are released into the public domain." (or whatever license you end up preferring). Again, I'll help out in any way I can. Huntster (t @ c) 23:47, 5 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Hunster, ooh I understand, sorry for my ?-Mark. Please tell me, what is the OTRS address? You may write it here in form of xyz(at)wxy.xs, or you may e-mail it to dshavit@sun-tec.ch or info@sun-tec.ch and I should get it. Possible? Now i hope I did well understand the signing: Dshavit (talk) 16:26, 7 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of LED Headliner for deletion

Dear IRWolfie,

This Wikipedia Article about a new technology was presented the 7th dec. 2010 and there were many critics coming up, which I tried to respond by enclosing primary and seccondary literature, like patents which you can check. This article is not about a product at all, it is about a new technology. If you need some proof that this technology is existing, please be invited to come to RESEARCH & TECHNOLOGY FAIR, 23.-27.4.2012 in Hannover. I will get you the ticket and show it to you. If you need to see some 3D-curved, ready to bond in car, OEM Trim materials with headliner LED films, please be invited to come to SUN-TEC Swiss United Technologies in Switzerland. I will even ask OEMs to talk to you, if you need.

I do admit, that presenting this technology in early market stage on Wikipedia had following advantage: The technology was presented Just In Time, and any change of the know how could be integrated rapidly and this integration knowledge could be traced by date. Consequently, after more than 15 month of work on this Wikipedia Article, this new critic as <<Non-Notable product>> is good for big companies. The deletion of this article will kill the official technology knowledge that was presented since 7th december 2010 to Wikipedia.

My question is:

a) What is the definition of non-notable product for a technology page? b) Why was it not defined earlier? c) What do I have to add to prove it is notable?

Kind regards,DS

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article LED Headliner is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/LED Headliner until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on good quality evidence, and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. IRWolfie- (talk) 12:55, 12 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

More information needed about File:Printed Headliner01.JPG

==>> was corrected by Dshavit, thanks

Thanks for uploading File:Printed Headliner01.JPG. However, it needs some more work before it is okay to use on Wikipedia.

Please click here and do the following:

  1. Add a description of where the image comes from (not what it is) and who the creator is. Please be specific, and include a link if you can.
  2. Find the appropriate license from the list of free, non-free media, or public domain options. Copy the license template and paste it in the file's page, and save.

If you follow these steps, your image can help enhance Wikipedia. If you have any questions, feel free to ask at the media copyright questions page.

Thank you for your contribution!Template:Z135 --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 13:08, 19 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

More information needed about File:Headliner Printed 03.jpg

Hello, Dshavit!

==>> Was corrected by Dshavit, thanks!

It was really helpful of you to you to upload File:Headliner Printed 03.jpg. However, we need to properly format the image license information in order to keep and use new images.

If you can edit the description and add one of these templates, that would be great. If you're not sure how or would like some help, please ask us at the media copyright questions page and we'll be happy to assist you.

Thanks again!Template:Z136 --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 14:05, 19 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
