Confirmed

(add requestview requests)
I am requesting permission to edit the "Sleeper Agent (band)" page only. I am a blood relative of the bassist and would like to update the page with pictures and background information about the band that doesn't violate the band's privacy. The pictures I am adding will either be my own, or cited pictures borrowed from a photographer. It is also in my interest to add information to the page over time as I see fitting. I would also like to note this is the only page i request access to at this point in time. Thanks Mgsclair (talk) 20:12, 13 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
(Non-administrator comment)You are able to freely edit that page.  Question: What is the copyright status of the borrowed photos?—cyberpower (Chat)(WP Edits: 517,187,729) 00:57, 17 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Also when responding to the copyright question above could you tell us what the pictures are of. GB fan 23:42, 19 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Dell Curry does not have an image and that bothers me, I would like to share a picture of him and use it on Wikipedia to inlighten the world with knowledge.

I have lots of Arena Zagreb pictures i would like to add to the article. They are my own work. Dadekssc (talk) 10:02, 19 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
If you took the pictures, then the best location is Commons, to which you can contribute now. Pictures on Commons can be used in any Wikipedia article.--SPhilbrick(Talk) 15:25, 19 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I am a well-known studio musician and frequently use a 1967 Vox Apollo Mark IV bass on popular music tracks. I would like to add a short audio sample to Vox_Bass_Guitar for which I have copyright MikeAinSoFLa (talk) 19:31, 19 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I would like to upload a new screenshot to Bitcoin, and to do that, i have to be in the confirmed user group. I'm involved in the bitcoin project in many ways, and i noticed that the screenshot was old, really old... It's not even a -qt screenshot as the captition says. JimNelin (talk) 00:30, 21 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
It looks like you have already uploaded the image to the Commons. GB fan 00:33, 22 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Requesting permissons to edit the subscribes to subbreddits on the page "Reddit". Highly knowlegdable on this subject and would like to help.

Please start by discussing the edits you would like on the article's talk page. GB fan 00:35, 22 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The article for Elder Scrolls 5 Skyrim is currently semi protected until March 29th and I want to make changes to the speculative journalism that inserted into the technical issues section. While it is indeed in need of updating; the current supporting evidence from sources 94 to 98 are either old and specifically 98 is speculative journalism which has been disproved by the director of Skyrim in an article by Eurogamer. Also information surrounding the Skyrim Creator Kit is absent entirely. ChrisGualtieri (talk) 04:16, 22 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Not done Chris, as you're a new editor, I highly recommend that you discuss the proposed edits on the article talkpage in order to gain WP:CONSENSUS for them. Skyrim is a heavily-edited article, but a well-argued case will both a) bring you closer to being autoconfirmed, and b) ensure your edit suggestions are taken seriously (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 10:39, 22 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
    • Okay, since it seems that I can update it in a few days after being autoconfirmed I shall make a talk page about it; it is only the time aspect not the edits that I need now. I didn't realize this was more of a special exception case; cared more about removing the speculative and false information then I guess is really required here. Thanks for your time though! • Sorry to ask again; I've been triggering the Tag 'Non-autoconfirmed user rapidly reverting edits' quite a few times now when I have been using STiki to revert cases of spam and vandalism. Despite trying to keep them spaced. STiki is a powerful tool and I use it properly and with care. Also in two days the tags won't apply to me, but I plan to fix many more cases of vandalism before then.

I would like to have confirmed rights because I feel to can make Wikipedia a more reliable place. If I find a user with Confirmed rights and editing a post with out a source which is a Reliable I will Delete and change it with a reason. All user's with bad evidence will be report to yous admins.

  •  Not doneHi, and thank you for creating an account to edit Wikipedia. Although I fully understand your desire to dive right in, many of our articles are semi-protected because they are controversial, prone to vandalism, or other reasons. As a new editor with few edits, it might be wise to discuss your edits on the article talkpage in order to gain consensus for your edits, or use {{Edit semi-protected}} to request the edit be performed. I only recommend this until you're used to the challenges of reliable sources, the biographies of living persons policy, and other similar things. The good news is that fewer than 5% of Wikipedia articles are protected; this means that 95% of the articles can use your help right now! (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 10:37, 22 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Can you please explain why you are requesting confirmed rights? Currently you can edit 95% of the articles on Wikipedia. GB fan 01:28, 23 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Recent Tamil movie named as "7aum arivu" starring surya & shruthi hasan has been released with great expectations and a big hype. tat movie's budget is about 80cr and till now its box office collections have crossed above 140 cr, but the problem here is the page wikipedia has with that movie name is just showing as box office 82cr with some unreliable source, i want rights to edit that page[1]. since i have many reliable sources like [2] and [3] for its box office collections. can you provide me with the rights or you might change the content with those references Dineshavian (talk) 00:59, 23 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
(Non-administrator comment)Unfortunately, this is not the place to request an edit on a semi-protected page. Just copy and paste this template: {{edit semi-protected}} onto the talk page and detail what you want to see happen. I am requesting permission to edit the Barack Obama Wikipedia page because I am HUGE fan and I would like to add some of his late speeches to the article. I would use excerpts that would be cited, so I would give credit to the source on my website. Barack Obama is a great person and I know that my website would provide vital information on him, so that we could help the Wikipedia viewers learn more about this awesome man.
