Welcome to Wikipedia!

Hello Ryoske, welcome to Wikipedia!

Here are some tips:

If you feel a change is needed, feel free to make it yourself! Wikipedia is a wiki, so anyone (yourself included) can edit any article by following the Edit this page link. Wikipedia convention is to be bold and not be afraid of making mistakes. If you're not sure how editing works, have a look at How to edit a page, or try out the Sandbox to test your editing skills.

If, for some reason, you are unable to fix a problem yourself, feel free to ask someone else to do it. Wikipedia has a vibrant community of contributors who have a wide range of skills and specialties, and many of them would be glad to help. As well as the wiki community pages there are IRC Channels, where you are more than welcome to ask for assistance.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask me on my talk page. Thanks and happy editing, Alf 10:18, 28 August 2005 (UTC).[reply]

Hi there! Thanks for your contributions to Kompeito.

I noticed you added an extra kanji variant of the word, and took out the hiragana version. ja:金平糖 uses 金平糖 as the title of the article, and it's the most common way to write the word if kanji is to be used at all, so I suggest we leave that as the primary spelling. Including alternate spellings is probably not that useful unless we list all of them.

Also, the katakana variant spelling コンペイトー is extremely uncommon; there are only 417 hits for it on Google. こんぺいとう has 138,000, so we should keep it there instead of the katakana spelling. It's by far the most common way to write the word.

If you don't mind, I think I'll make these changes. Thanks again for contributing! --Che Fox 06:25, 16 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Kenkanryu

Thanks for making the Kenkanryu article, I knew there had to be someone out there who would do a better job then me! I just wanted to let you know that you might find these blog posts helpful -- [1][2].--ThreeAnswers 00:08, 24 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Also you might find this helpful.[3] It's a Korean news report about the book, but interviews are in Japanese and I can do a bit of translation if you want.--ThreeAnswers 03:24, 9 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.

Attention Ryosuke!

Someone has vandalized your good post on Kenkanryu! Please do something about it. I complained about it on the talk section of the Kenkanryu article.
