Keble College Boat Club (KCBC) is the rowing club of Keble College, Oxford in Oxford, United Kingdom. The boat club is based in its boathouse on the Isis, which is shared with Jesus College, but spend most of the year training on the Godstow stretch to the North.

History

For a college where rugby is the dominant sport, Keble has enjoyed comparative success on the river. It has held the headship of Summer Eights on seven occasions, most recently in 1977. Both the men's and women's 1st VIII crews have both consistently raced in the top two divisions of Summer Eights, with the men's boat twelfth on the river in 2012 and the women thirteenth.

The college has a strong representation at university level, with four current students in the boat race crews for the open-weight and light-weight boat races. Olympic gold medallist Ed Coode rowed for the college 1st VIII during his time at Keble in the late 1990s.

Coaching

Lynch Mason, David Rhodes and Chris Gamble have coached the college's squads for the 2011-12 season.

Equipment

KCBC is generously sponsored by Neptune Investment Management, who provide new boats and equipment on a regular basis.
