Dasmond Koh (simplified Chinese: 许振荣; traditional Chinese: 許振榮; pinyin: Xǔ Zhènróng; born 1972) is a Singaporean Movie Director cum Television Compere/Actor. He made his career debut on the Singapore Top Chinese Radio Station Y.E.S. 93.3FM as a full-time deejay in 1996. For 6 years in a row (1997-2002), he was voted Singapore Most Popular DJ. Past experience of interviewing and co-hosting on airwaves with popular foreign artistes like Andy Lau, Aaron Kwok, Sammi Cheng, Jacky Cheung, Faye Wong and Jeff Chang has definitely made Dasmond a joy to watch with his quick, witty and confident ways. In year 2000, he turned full-time into Televison, joining MediaCorp.

Dasmond Koh

Educated at Anglican High School and Temasek Polytechnic, Dasmond has hosted a variety of programmes, including travelogues, game shows, talk shows, and infotainment shows. He has also starred in many sitcoms and dramas on TV. Koh also landed himself a role in The Tree, a movie starring Zoe Tay and Hong Kong actor Francis Ng.

According to an interview, the misspelt name came about when it was a fad to have a Christian name. He had asked a teacher for the spelling of "Desmond".
