The title of Tuan Muda may now be obsolete, but it obviously was not when held by Captain Brooke, Tuan Muda of Sarawak. The fact that the monarchy there no longer rules does not detract from the fact that Wikipedia naming conventions state Royalty are to be known by their highest ruling title; in this case Tuan Muda.

Thus I suggest the article once again be moved to Bertram Brooke, Tuan Muda of Sarawak. After all, if it were not for he being Tuan Muda of Sarawak he would not be notable enough to merit this article. --Couter-revolutionary 18:16, 17 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Possibly, since this is a historical article. But it is not appropriate to head the article on Anthony Brooke by an obsolete title which he does not use. It would perhaps be preferable to have a short article on Royal titles of Sarawak, rather than littering the Wikipedia with tiny articles on each title. I concede to the fact that there is no need for the numerous articles telling of the titles of Sarawak, even if it was I who wrote them. I do not believe it makes any difference that he disowns the title, he was made the Tuan Muda and, as a result, according to Wikipedia standards, this is what the article should know him as. It should, of course, shew that he no longer uses is however. --Couter-revolutionary 18:43, 17 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Religion

I strongly suspect he converted to Islam. Anyone have any thoughts? --Counter-revolutionary (talk) 14:56, 26 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
