I'm requesting confirmed status so that I can upload the Engine Yard company logo to its Wikipedia page. I feel that it would add to the current page, wherein no logo is included. Thanks very much for your consideration. K8fr0st (talk) 17:28, 10 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I need to update the VSO logo to the new one launched in 2011 HannahVSO (talk) 08:55, 11 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Want to update a logo Tito7676 (talk) 06:49, 12 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Good evening all, I wish to have my account confirmed as I was attempting to add some articles about Australian Vineyards. I want to upload the logos for the vineyards but can't do so without the required permission. I have already finished one of the articles but only wish to save it and make it live when it is as complete as possible (with a logo). Appreciate the time and consideration PCK14 (talk) 07:23, 16 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Not done Actually you need to work the other way. You need to create the article and get it to the point that that it is ready for the article space. Publish the article in the article space and then upload a non-free logo. n this case I don't even see a draft of an article. GB fan 15:53, 16 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello again,

Thank you GB fan for taking the time to look at my request. I have now psted the draft which is under Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Taylors Wines If you require me to first put it up for review before possibly being allowed to add the pictures let me know and I will do so! Thanks PCK14 (talk)

Already done you are autoconfirmed so we don't need to do anything here. If the image is not free you must wait until the article is in the article space prior to uploading the image. Non-free images can only be used in the article space. GB fan 04:31, 17 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Please confirm so that I can add the correct image of the crest of City University London to its wikipedia entry. It currently displays a cropped version of its logo which is not the official crest Ryanldnwiki (talk) 17:38, 17 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I wish to be a confirmed user so I can add some pictures on some articles to help improve Wikipedia.

Looking at your edit history, are you looking at adding pictures of living people? If so those pictures must be free images. Free images should be uploaded to our free image repository, the Commons. You can log in there with the same username and password you use here and you do not need any special permissions to upload images there. If thi is not what you want to do you will need to give us more information about what articles and the copyright status of the pictures. GB fan 20:16, 18 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I need to upload the school logo for West Coast Baptist College Johnbradley20 (talk) 21:37, 18 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, I need to upload an image for Ridge High School (under fair use since it's a non-free image/logo), as our high school has no image there right now, and it has not had one for a while. This logo would contribute substantially to the article. So if you could confirm my account that'd be great. Thanks. Remix1231 (talk) 05:07, 19 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I just started working for the company whose article I am trying to update and need to be able to upload the company logo ASAP. I am new to editing on wikipedia but understand fully how to use it correctly and would never abuse the privileges granted to a confirmed account. I have read the Wikipedia Conflict of Interests article and also understand that the aim of articles should not be to promote, but rather to provide useful and non-biased information, which are my intentions. Thank you NAKraft (talk) 18:29, 19 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This picture from a concert Katy Perry performed for the men and women of the United States Naval Academy shows Perry's constant support for the US Military, and is modeled after the iconic photograph "V-J Day in Times Square". I guess you are asking for confirmed rights so that you can upload an image of Katy Perry performing at the United States Naval Academy. If I am right, can you tell us the copyright status of the image you wish to upload? If that is not what you are asking can you please clarify. GB fan 03:46, 21 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I took this picture at a concert, and therefore own the rights to it Katy Perry poses in the iconic Navy kiss with Midshipman 3rd Class Beasley

You have already uploaded the file to the commons and that is the proper place for the file. I don't see anything you need confirmed rights for. GB fan 04:01, 21 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

What about adding it to the Katy Perry Wikipedia Page?

I got it now, the article Katy Perry is semi-protected and you want to add the image to it. The best way to do that is to discuss the image on the article's talk page and see what other editors think of the picture and where you want to add it. GB fan 04:16, 21 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  •  Not done First, you should probably see WP:FAMOUS if you are the subject, it might require a few more hoops. Second, as I'm certain the information you're wanting to change is verifiable, why not propose the changes on the article talkpage right now - including links to the sources. Finally - please don't type in all capitals - it's considered to be shouting (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 10:50, 22 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I will need a confirm because i had just created an article which in big, needs a photo to be in that article. i have no other friends to help me upload the photo on that article. Dicksonkongjasonbourne (talk) 05:03, 22 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I'm working with Arnold Rutkowski, the opera singer, and he gave me his Photo and permission to use it, so I'd like to upload it to the article about him, for everyone to see it. AnnaM76 (talk) 15:40, 22 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Question: - What is the copyright status of the image you wish to upload? That does not just refer to whether you have permission to use it, but what other people could do with it if they found it on Wikipedia. ItsZippy (talkcontributions) 16:30, 22 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Hi there, I am requesting confirmed status because I have some photo's too add to the pages of the politicians of Somaliland. These are my professional photo's and I'd like to put them on their page. There are no photos for politcians of my country on wikipedia, so it's important that I add them. Thank you Lafcanbe (talk) 20:25, 22 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I am the Director of Corporate Communications for CQUniversity Australia. I wish to upload an official corporate logo to the Central Queensland University wiki to provide a means of visual identification for readers. Thank you. Chris.veraa (talk) 00:56, 23 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Not done Granting confirmed status for the sole purpose of helping you to edit in an area where you have a conflict of interest would be dubious. JamesBWatson (talk) 11:40, 23 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Not done The article has been deleted as a copyright infringement, and as unambiguous promotion. It is also doubtful whether it satisfied Wikipedia's notability standards. JamesBWatson (talk) 11:39, 23 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I would Love to be a permanent member of wikipedia & i will do my level best in improving the articles by adding necessary information to the subject & would love to upload pictures for the articles.

  •  Not done You already are a permanent member of Wikipedia, so welcome. We require all new users to perform a certain number of edits, wait a certain number of days, and understand some key policies such as WP:COPYRIGHT and the image use policy before handing the reins over. However, you can edit more than 95% of the articles on Wikipedia right now. Good luck! (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 11:33, 23 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
