New addition

The source of the comments about "The Boys" reunion and mooted plot ideas for a sequel come from the biography "Peter Jackson from prince of splatter to Lord of the rings" by Ian Pryor. Published in 2003 by Random house.

The horo in Kaihoro does not mean town. Horo in this sense means swift or fast, so it is fast food. Horo can also signify a landslide, but certainly not a town.

Bad Taste

Under this section, it says "are repelled by a four-man paramilitary force." In the movie, Frank blatantly states that they "are a government department, NOT a paramilitary force"146.63.253.183 20:05, 10 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Public Domain Issue

Adding links to sites that have this movie in full downloadable format should be allowed. This film is not in Public Domain as Peter Jackson owns all the rights since Anchor Bay Entertainment lost their release rights many years ago.

Should they be allowed or not ? I don't understand your remark. --Hell Pé (talk) 11:57, 10 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I am thinking that what the OP meant was that since Jackson owns the film rights he can release it for free on the internet if he wants to. A lot of content creators want to do that but do not own the rights so they can't (Penn and Teller and a number of musicians as well as filmmakers have related these types of problems). Therefore an official site that allows you to view or download the movie, as long as it is blessed by Jackson or whatever, should be allowed. There are a number of movies that have been released this way, for instance some Michael Moore films and Zeitgeist. A quick google reveals claims that this film is in the public domain, but I have not found an official, much less reliable, source for that as of yet. Archive.org seems to have the "making of" documentary, Good Taste Made Bad Taste, with the claim that it is in the public domain, but the link to Bad Taste gives an error saying there are issues. Apparently the film is supposed to be being remastered and re-released this year, which makes me wonder if they would allow the original to be given out for free, but I cannot confirm the claim that it can. Sequel plans

This section refers to Derek as a "zombie hunter". There are no zombies in Bad Taste, they are aliens. Derek also is not a zombie in the traditional sense, shown by his ability to talk and perform other more-involved tasks (navigating, using chainsaw, manipulating the security system to get the chainsaw, drive).146.63.253.183 20:05, 10 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Exploding sheep

Revenge_of_the_Mutant_Camels alleges exploding sheep in a computer game in 1984 - three years before Bad Taste. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.106.38.4 (talk) 03:12, 20 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Peter Jackson

Every time his name is mentioned there is a link to his wiki-page. Surely one link would do--TimothyJacobson (talk) 23:34, 5 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

female cast members

The "Production Notes" section says there are no female cast members. IMDB at http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0092610/fullcredits#cast has Carol Taylor, Janine Riely and Margaret Byford all playing 3rd class aliens. 198.142.44.146 (talk) 17:28, 27 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
