  •  Not done - Hi, and thank you for creating an account to edit Wikipedia. Although I fully understand your desire to dive right in, many of our articles are semi-protected because they are controversial, prone to vandalism, or other reasons. As a new editor with few edits, it might be wise to discuss your edits on the article talkpage in order to gain consensus for your edits, and then use {{Edit semi-protected}} to request the edit be performed. I only recommend this until you're used to the challenges of reliable sources, the biographies of living persons policy, and other similar policies. The good news is that fewer than 5% of Wikipedia articles are protected; this means that 95% of the articles can use your help right now!. (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 10:33, 23 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Should it eventually meet wikipedia requirements and be placed in articlespace, you can upload images then. Note: I'm not sure what you mean by "official biography " but you should read about wp:COI. But, I have a project due tonight and for this project, I have to upload my article on your website. So, would you please allow me to upload my file on Wikipedia by confirming my account as soon as possible. Thank you.

I was looking to change a simple wording issue (1 word: to add clarity) that would not require any format changes or complex alteration issues at all. The idea of looking for 10 other things to edit just to do that did not seem fair. I do understand and respect your expectation that people new to editing WIKIPEDIA (like myself) would get experience on non semi-protected items 1st before doing anything even the least bit complex, so we do not cause other issues or changes in a page.; I George.c152 (talk) 14:20, 28 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

It does not have any reliable sources and it is written as if it is a website for the company. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia and we cover subjects that over sources have already discussed. Next your account violates our policies. Usernames can only represent a single person not a group of people as you indicate this username does. Usernames can also not imply that you are editing on behalf of a company. I would like to obtain confirmed right to make crucial change in the following page "Corruption in Turkish Soccer". The page is clearly prepared by holigans of Galatasaray soccer club. As clearly the information presented is one sided, and comments and even references are falsified. Yesterday I madified the page and make some changes but immediately may changes are deleted and now the page is protected. Wikipedia is a platform where people can freely speak and publish, however it also requires justice and correct information. Writing misleading and falsified informations and protecting it from any change should not be the way of Wiki. For instance, in my correction I also included the information about how Galatasaray is also involven in corruption. See the below paragraphy.

On 3 March 2012, another scandal broke involving Galatasaray SK in the match fixing case, [2] when a letter written by Bülent Tulun (former sport director) to former Galatasaray President Adnan Polat was revealed. In this letter, Tulun was asking the whereabouts of missing 1 million dollars to Polat, as follows: "Dear president, you were talking about me granting 75,000 dollars for myself from Ilic (former GS player)'s contract. Everything was done for the favor of GS. I hope 1,5 million your driver took from the club was also used in the favor of the club. I do have the receipt of the following transaction.".[3] Immediately after this, prosecutors started an investigation on former president Adnan Polat, Mustafa Kabasakal (driver) and former sports director Bülent Tulun.[4]. Although the club reported this transaction as a payment for former player Song, they were not able to prove it. The allegations against Galatasaray, however, are based on the 2005-06 football season. A relegation-battling Denizlispor surprisingly held then-leader Fenerbahçe to a 1-1 draw, allowing Galatasaray to win the title.

Unfortunately it is deleted immediately. Please give me the permission, so that I can help improve the page and make it fair.

  • Question - What is the copyright status of the image(s) or file(s) you wish to use? GB fan 19:25, 31 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
It is their company logo. According to Wikipedia fair-use documentation, the image, since it is copyrighted, is acceptable under fair-use since it will only be used to identify the company in question.
Since you want to use the logo under fair use, the logo can only be used in the article space. The fair use rules do not allow fair use files to be used in sandboxes. GB fan 20:29, 31 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
This is correct. However, I will be transferring the image over to the page immediately once I finish setting it up. That way a long list of minor edits does not show up in the history log. Bmanpa (talk) 20:35, 31 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
If this would still not be acceptable, I will only upload the image when I'm ready to update the article. However, I would still need my account confirmed either way. Bmanpa (talk) 22:10, 31 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You have been pointed to the image use policy - the company would need to formally release the use of the logo to Wikipedia (indeed, to ANYWHERE that uses it) or else it is a major violation of WP:COPYRIGHT. Just because you work there does not give you permission to upload their logo and violate their intellectual property.
