Kenner Collegiate Vocational Institute and its Intermediate School is located at 633 Monaghan Road in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada. Established in 1952, as of 2011, the school has 970 students; 326 intermediate and 644 secondary. English, the International Baccalaureate Program and Learning and Life Skills programmes exist for the students. Kenner CVI is a member of the Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board.
KCVI (Kenner)was the second public high school in Peterborough and is named after former Peterborough Collegiate Institute (aka PCVS) teacher and principal Dr. H.R.H. Kenner, father of literary scholar Hugh Kenner. Kenner Sr. was at PCVS for 50 years.
The school, itself, is full of wanna-be gangsters, little emo dirt bags and a bunch of hurtin' pot smokers. Over all it's a pathetic trash bin located in the poorest part of beaterborough, the shitty south. You know what I'm talking about.
School Facilities
The Kenner Collegiate Vocational Institute and Intermediate School facility consists of 200,000 square feet (20,000 m2) that are dedicated to classrooms, music rooms, science laboratories, Library Resource Centre, resource support rooms, computer labs, a full weight and health room, two gymnasiums, a student run restaurant called Kaycees and is fully wheelchair accessible. One part of the school is designated to the Intermediate Division. Kenner offers a wide range of programs including hairstyling, the reading tutor program, technology courses, and food services.
