Pamela J. "Pam" Myhra (born 1957) is a Minnesota politician and a member of the Minnesota House of Representatives who represents District 40A, which includes portions of Dakota and Scott counties in the southern Twin Cities metropolitan area. A Republican, she is also a certified public accountant by profession.[1]

Myhra was first elected to the House in 2010. She currently serves on the Capital Investment, the Education Finance, the Education Reform, and the Taxes committees.[2]

Myhra graduated from Burnsville High School in Burnsville and the University of St. Thomas in Saint Paul, earning her B.A. with honors in Business Administration. Prior to starting a family, she worked as a manager for KPMG, an international public accounting firm, where she specialized in banking, insurance and government. Active in her community, she has also served director of a girls’ club and teacher of numerous parenting classes.[3][4]

Despite being in the middle of her own campaign, Myhra is currently being vetted by the 2012 Mitt Romney presidential campaign as a possible Vice Presidential running mate to former Massachusettes governor Mitt Romney.
