Shift from individuals to groups

Can anyone explain how "lifetime achievements" shifted from individual awards to those of groups, including groups which have changed membership over the years? Lifetime to me refers to individuals.--96.244.244.244 (talk) 01:57, 26 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
