Requests for registration
Please read the guide on the main page before requesting permission. In applying for AWB access, you indicate that you will abide by its terms.
Also, this page is for requesting AWB Access for this wiki (English Wikipedia) only. Other projects have their own check pages and you should ask administrators there to add you.
Please add your name to the bottom of the list using *
. Enter your user name exactly as it is, do not add underscores instead of spaces or change the case of the first letter.
{{AWBUser|your username}}

If the list contains undecided entries that are over 48 hours old, please add
to the top of this page.
{{Admin backlog}}
Note that users with under 500 mainspace non-automated edits are rarely approved. You only need to give a reason for wanting AWB access if you have fewer than 500 mainspace non-automated edits.
If approved, your name will be added to the CheckPage.

- Павлица (talk • contribs • non-automated contribs • wikichecker • count • total • logs • page moves • block log • email) I have more than 12,000 edits globally. I hope that there will be no problems. 21:31, 21 September 2012 (UTC)
- FIrst I would like to know what you are planning to do on en.wikipedia with AWB, as so far you have not edited much. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 09:12, 25 September 2012 (UTC)
- My apologies. I just found out that I don't need to ask here, because I can edit on my home wiki. When I couldn't use AWB, I was automatically redirected to this page, but now everything is fine. Regards! --Павлица (talk) 08:51, 29 September 2012 (UTC)

- What would you like to use AWB for? A large fraction of the edits are automated and reverts. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 09:19, 25 September 2012 (UTC)
- StillwaterBot (talk • contribs • non-automated contribs • wikichecker • count • total • logs • page moves • block log • email) As long-time approved user, I would like to get approval for my newly created legitmate alternate account. Stillwaterising (talk) 09:37, 29 September 2012 (UTC)
- Not done There's a slight issue here with the username. If you are planning to use this account for fully-automated editing (i.e. no clicking the "save" button in AWB) you need to go through a bot request for approval first. If your intention was just to use this account as a semi-automated (i.e. you still approve every edit yourself) alternate account, to allow you to separate your AWB contributions from your other edits, then that is a good idea and I would encourage you to go ahead with it, but you need to choose a username which does not have "bot" in it (e.g. StillwaterAuto, StillwaterAWB etc.). - Kingpin13 (talk) 11:42, 29 September 2012 (UTC)
- ÄDA - DÄP (talk • contribs • non-automated contribs • wikichecker • count • total • logs • page moves • block log • email) I am mainly working on u-boat articles and found it quite tedious to check and correct infoboxes and the like. I hope I could use AWB, so I can spend more time on improving and less on typing and formating. 13:11, 30 September 2012 (UTC)

- (Non-administrator comment) Doesn't appear to be a bot.... Mdann52 (talk) 12:44, 27 September 2012 (UTC)
- Not done since the instructions were not followed. Careful instruction following is important to AWB use. Article edits are only 306 at this point. At the current rate of editing it will take several months to get to the 500 mark. Request can be reconsidered if the instructions at the top of the page are carefully followed.
