Hi Hazard, re: orphaned Strudyna logo. the file was too large to use in the strudyna wikipage. so I uploaded a smaller one which currently in use. thus, yes, thiis "jpg" can be auotmatically deleted after 7 days. Many thanks!

origianl message- Orphaned non-free media (File:Strudyna logo.jpg)

Thanks for uploading File:Strudyna logo.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Page Curation update

Hey all :). We've just deployed another set of features for Page Curation. They include flyouts from the icons in Special:NewPagesFeed, showing who reviewed an article and when, a listing of this in the "info" flyout, and a general re-jigging of the info flyout - we've also fixed the weird bug with page_titles_having_underscores_instead_of_spaces in messages sent to talkpages, and introduced CSD logging! As always, these features will need some work - but any feedback would be most welcome.

Bug!

See [1], I don't believe that this file should be tagged. mabdul 06:27, 11 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Why not? The file is labelled as non-free, and no pages on the English Wikipedia link to the file (according to the file usage).  Hazard-SJ  ✈  02:28, 12 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
But also PD-ineligible-USonly which is - by definition - free and should be kept for the file history. The only reason why it isn't moved to Commons is that Australia seems to have other laws... mabdul 14:18, 14 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Bug reporting "not used in any articles"

Hi, your bot left a message on my talk page letting me know that it had tagged Media:Barbican Centre logo.svg because it was not used in any articles, but this has never been true. This edit adding the logo is the latest edit on the page the logo is being used on. What gives? — cdwn 12:28, 16 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
