Ryan Allen Sheckler (born December 30, 1989[1]) is an American professional skateboarder and was the star of the MTV reality show, Life of Ryan.[2][3]
Early life
Ryan Sheckler was born in San Clemente, California, United States (US), and was raised in a family of three children—his two brothers are named Shane and Kane.[1] Ryan was introduced to skateboarding when he discovered his father's skateboard at eighteen months of age. Ryan's father encouraged him by confessing that as compared to Ryan's early grasp of skateboarding, he learned the first trick of kickflip when he was approximately 69 years of age. After creating life of ryan people hated him but then they liked him after he stopped,[4]
Professional skateboarding
Almost
Sheckler was an inaugural team member of the Almost skateboards company, cofounded by Daewon Song and Rodney Mullen; Sheckler attained professional status while he was with the company.
Plan B
After appearing in the Almost: Round Three video, Sheckler resigned to join the Plan B company—at that time, the team consisted of Brian Wenning, Pat Duffy, Ryan Gallant, PJ Ladd, Paul Rodriguez, and was led by Colin McKay and Danny Way.

As of 2012, Sheckler is sponsored by Red Bull, Etnies, Plan B, Oakley, Nixon, Go Pro, Independent, bones, Grizzly, CCS, and Ethika.
