HACKED

It looks as of July 21, 2011 that this page has been significantly hacked. I attempted to undo the changes, but was not able to. Could someone look at this that is more expert that I? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.49.44.154 (talk) 18:10, 21 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The gay rumor won't go away

There is no proof that VelJohnson is gay; he has never himself publically stated so, so therefore it's all conjecture. Such information should therefore not be in the article --b. Touch 06:16, 19 Mar 2005 (UTC)

He is listed on the List of gay, lesbian or bisexual people. Truthfully, the internet search evidence is pretty scant, but if someone could find a reputable source, add it in.--Wasabe3543 03:02, 22 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]
He'll only stay on the list if there's a mention in this article. -Willmcw 22:31, 6 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, if we're making baseless conjecture about these sorts of things let's at least go with a better rumor, like maybe he was boning the girl who played Laura Winslow as soon as she got hot. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.51.236.119 (talk) 03:18, 1 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Also, note that he's 57 and has never been married. --RyanTee82 (talk) 21:14, 21 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

So? That doesn't mean anything.Bllasae (talk) 14:43, 29 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Actually it does. Rosie O'Donnell, Ricky Martin, etc etc. Gimme a fucking break. --76.115.67.114 (talk) 04:48, 12 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, Rosie O'Donnell and Ricky Martin are gay...what's your point? Bottom line is, he has been rumored as being gay for as long as I can remember, but since he has never explicity stated his orientation, I agree that it should stay out of the article. Trivia

In my opinion the trivia section should stay intact. Wigren 20:33, 8 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've seen references to this "SMF" wrestling series in a couple different articles. Is a person or fictional character's presence in some lame Youtube series really worth mentioning on these pages? SMF doesn't really seem to be a notable part of pop culture and its presense in these articles seems (to me, anyhow) as nothing more than publicity for an otherwise unremarkable series. Am I way off-base here?

Reginald and the VelJohnsons

What is this garbage about "Reginald and the VelJohnsons"? Is that a REAL band? I have a very hard time believing that this band exists, and if it does, that it's NOT named for Reginald. Chalkieperfect 03:35, 1 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Same here. If the band claims they aren't named after him, they must be lying. --70.143.40.56 19:22, 1 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Birthplace

The Yahoo TV biography and the IMDB bio conflict on his place of birth; one says North Carolina sister Cherly Konragay, one says Queens, New York. He appears to have attended high school in Queens (with George Tenet and Ron Jeremy), see Queens Tribune QConfidential Studerby 23:26, 1 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Name

How did he get the name"VelJohnson?" The article says that his father's name was Johnson, I was waiting to see how he got "Vel." Is it a stage name to not take his father's name for fame?
