Appitalism is a Cross-platform App Store made by the developers of CyanogenMod[1] and launched by Simon Buckingham. It specializes in rooted Androids and has more than 300,000 free Android Market apps available for download through its service.[2]

Installers of custom firmware(ROM image) have been searching for an alternative market that would support it.[3] This demand has now been fullfilled with the supply of Appitalism service, also known as the Application Black Market [4]
