I'm Tiggerjay, and I noticed that you haven't been welcomed yet, so I thought I'd drop you a note. We do have a lot of users, and are currently working on 6,871,638 articles, so things can be a little intimidating... but don't worry! We love to help out, and we'll try our best to make your stay here as comfortable as possible.

Template:Multicol-end You should sign your name on talk pages, discussions and votes by typing ~~~~; our software automatically converts it to your username and the date. Also, if you don't want to jump right into editing articles right now, why not check out the sandbox? Feel free to make test edits there.

I know it's a lot of information, but there are two more things I recommend you take note of while editing Wikipedia - cite references wherever possible, and avoid allowing personal biases interfere with your editing.

I hope you enjoy editing and being a Wikipedian - I definitely do. Although we all make mistakes, please keep in mind what Wikipedia is not. If you have any questions or problems, leave me a message on my talk page, and I'll try my best to help. Someone told me that you were looking for sources that I was "active in 1989". Since I wasn't I don't think you'll be successful. But maybe you can find sources for 1972. My father gave me a tape recorder for my third birthday, and Cliff Richard claims he snuck my voice into the backing for a Shadows song, but doesn't remember which one. Blocked as sock puppet of User:Comet Egypt

This user is obviously a sock puppet of indefinitely blocked User:Comet Egypt. I'm blocking per WP:DUCK. I've looked closely at this, but even a cursory examination makes it obvious. Associated IPs geolocate to the same city. --Daniel (talk) 03:02, 12 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. looking at this user, i can see why you'd want to keep him away from Wikipedia. however, may i point out some things that may help you in determining whether i am indeed Comet Egypt or not?

Living in the same city as an obvious troll does not mean that I am a troll
By the looks of it, we tend to have somewhat simlar interests, yet we edit these articles from different perspectives.

I understand your intent completely, but i question your judgement. I do my best to find sources, while by the looks of things, Comet Egypt just added random facts. If you need anything else from me, feel free to ask. i've e-mailed an administrator that i trust about this issue, and perhaps he will be able to help you out.

Now, i shall state my intentions: I intend to help wikipedia out, and also to detect trolls, change contents in articles so they're correct, remove vandelism and basicly be an all out helping hand.

Being a voice actor myself, i do end up editing articles involving projects i've either worked on, or have had close association with. one example is the series sidekick, which i have done minor voices for. I find the articles for cartoons that some of my fello voice actors work on, and see if they need fixing up. i also find articles about fello voice actors and help ad credits that they've done, hense my edits to Rick Moranis and such.

I've also tried to edit articles outside this category, for example, on the talkpage for audio feedback, i started a disgussion on a cause of feedback that isn't mentioned in the article. I'm currently on the search for a source for some info about Kirsty Hawkshaw, stating that Cliff Richard snuck a recording of her at 3 years old into the backing track of one of his albums. as of yet i haven't found a source for this, but will continue on.

Sorry, but I'm not buying it. Two editors from the same city with the same text to speech problems and with the same fascination with adding obscure and unverifiable information about voice actors on children's TV shows; I've never seen a clearer case of WP:DUCK. I understand that there may be some similarities to the edits, however, i'd like to present several things that may just change your minds: *My typo's are a result not of a text to speach software, i am just a generaly fast typer, and sometimes, i can go a little bit overboard, thus resulting in a plethora of spelling mistakes. *i've looked closely at Comet Egypt's contributions, and can see where the blocking admin is getting at when it comes to our similar edits, but as i state above, i make those edits to children's animated series articles because i am a voice actor who works on such programs. i'd also like to be on record for being against socpuppetry in every way, and do not encourage Comet Egypt to do so at all. however, if you do decline my block for the good of wikipedia, and not just because i'm similar to comet egypt, then i'll support this. i came here with well-meaning intent, and thought that as a voice actor of 24 years, i'd be able to help fix some info about projects i've worked on and have been associated with. Ok, first, i was apparently Christian Woods from Bulbapedia, now i'm apparently Comet Egypt. mistaken identities, cursed account much? yes, cursed account. Kim dent brown, why did you suggest me to create an account if it would turn out people mistaking my identity? (walks away in confusion as encyclopedia burns to ashes) just delete my account if you actually think i'm Comet Egypt. before you do so however, i'd like to be on record for saying that my name is Jonathon Wilson, i have been a voice actor sinse 1989, I go under several stage names, and that i really enjoy voice acting. also, i live in an appartment building in room 204, and i intended to edit wikipedia in a non-melevelant way, but these admins had to come along and accuse me of socpuppetry, not even a month after a user who answers by the name of JO the Marten accused me of being "christian woods." to be honest, i don't know why i took KDB's suggestion of creating an account, i knew i should have just stayed as an IP editor. I've been reading various pages on Wikipedia sinse 2005 and understand the policies, and i can planely see a plethora of violations in these acusations, i.e. assuming bad faith for one.
