59.90.186.230 would like to know why you reverted my edits on the ashtachamma page ?

would like to know why have you reverted my edits on the ashtachamma page ? the page points to a board game site where you can play the game with your facebook friends. i can change the description and put a new one if you suggest , or is it not allowed to put such links. please let me know . the site is clean and not a malware you can see and try it for yourself. Thanks,

Reverted change to Oy Vey

You reverted my change to the Oy Vey article after I conferred with one of my Jewish/hispanic coleagues and she confirmed it.

Your uneducated and moronic edit

What kind of idiot are you to ruin a good article on Jays' Treaty? Someone took the time and effort to write an accurate account of the issues between the US and Britain, and their resolutions and you decided on being a complete moron and ruined it.

RE: Negritude

Please do not delete new info re Negritude. I wrote several books on the subject and knew Senghor, Cesaire and Damas intimately. Because I'm new to this I did not change the part about "Negrerie", which only means, "Les choses qui concernent les Negres." What is said about Negreirie is not correct but it's inocuous. Protection requested for NDTV India... Technical 13 (talk) 17:08, 11 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for that but although I belive it's quite little vandalism to protect for admin. We'll see what happens next. Tolly4bolly 17:10, 11 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
It is minor stuff, but it has been persistent for the last three days... I think they'll grant the PC1 protection. That will allow the IPs to make the edits, but no-one will see them unless they are approved. I have seen some IPs make semi-productive edits to the article, and didn't want to lock them out. Technical 13 (talk) 17:15, 11 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Why was my contribution removed? What was wrong with it?

Hi,

I contributed to Commando - A One Man Army, by way of adding a Critical Reception section and starting it with a review site reference.

What was Wrong is this? Can you please educate me?

Cheers, Girish — Preceding unsigned comment added by Girish1inn (talkcontribs) 09:28, 12 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Well it was removed because the one you (IP) provided was not reliable source. If you have to add critical reception then you need to use reliable source. I hope this explains the reverts I made. Tolly4bolly 10:10, 12 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Why not reliable?

I mentioned www.reviewbol.com, which is a movie review aggregator site, it has reviews from timesofindia, ndtv, ibnlive so how can you claim its unreliable? on what basis? what logic?

You an easily goto the site and check. It is unfair on your part. Please go and check for yourself. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Girish1inn (talkcontribs) 11:25, 12 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Well if you it's reliable then you can probably add it but I am quite sure that your edits will be removed by other users. Tolly4bolly 11:29, 12 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

reviewbol

I dont know about reviewbol either. if it is a reliable source in compiling and evaluating the quality reviews out there, it would be a good thing, but I dont really know if they have any repute expertise or are just attempting leech off the value of other sites. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 11:48, 12 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Ok. The user is continuously adding the links and reviews from that sites to various articles (like new users or IPs do it for advertising). I will take this to rs noticeboard, probably there would be some conclusion. Thanks for your help. Tolly4bolly 11:56, 12 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The remove RottenTomatoes as well. Reply to TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom

TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom

If you don't know, that that dosent mean that a site dosent exist.

If you apply the same rule you can remove 'rottentomatoes.com' as well, they also """attempting leech off the value of other sites""" as per your remark (ie reviews from various sites) Will you do that? Can you do that?

There has to be a common benchmark.

When did Wikipedia turn unfair and biased?

I have always come across good people in wiki.

Thanks for updating the article to reflect his recent win. I have nominated it for ITN over here. You may support it if you wish to. §§Dharmadhyaksha§§ {T/C} 13:01, 12 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Response to Edit Removal

Hello. You recently messaged me to let me know about an edit I supposedly made you found non-constructive. I'd just like to clarify that I was aware of no such edit, and I actually haven't edited Wikipedia in several years. I have to suppose someone is using my IP address, and I may actually create an account of my own to rectify that.

Sorry for any inconveniences.

What da heck!?!?!

My last edit was legit. You must not like happiness and puppies — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.87.15.123 (talk) 19:39, 12 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Syrian civil war

Geez, man. You reverted so quickly I thought you were a bot. Sorry. Look carefully at the article. I did not remove any content. The lede part which I shortened is the same as the Syrian_civil_war#United_Nations_report section. By the way, there is no rule that I have to discuss anything before editing in Wikipedia.--Emesik (talk) 20:55, 12 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the note. I think you should probably discuss with others in the talk page and come to conclusion since this is a very popular topic here. Tolly4bolly 08:20, 13 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Nandha's Page Info

I am so sorry Tolly4bolly, but I am actually related to Nandha and I know that his birth date is 06/12/1985. By the way, the image posted was from a Facebook page. So I request that you do not alter my changes because they are true. Thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by 14.201.178.209 (talk) 08:51, 15 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

BLP articles need to be sourced. I have updated tags also. Tolly4bolly 09:19, 15 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

About an edit summary

Hi, Tolly4bolly. Regarding this edit: While it was reasonable to revert since there's no compelling reason for that to be in the infobox, the boilerplate in your edit summary left something to be desired because the content in question was neither unsourced nor negative. I don't use Huggle and have no idea what options it provides, but a manual undo with custom summary might be a better choice in such a context. Just a thought—no big deal. Happy editing! Rivertorch (talk) 10:55, 16 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the note. I reverted that since it looked like vandalism (since I've not seen any sort of edits in the past) and reverted it as unsourced. Tolly4bolly 10:58, 16 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. I noticed that earlier today, you reverted an edit to Turban Cowboy. I understand that you're fighting vandalism, but that was a mistake. The removed section was an unsourced and speculative (i.e. a conspiracy theory) that attemped to link the Boston Marathon bombing to an episode of The Family Guy. Someone (rightfully) removed it, and you reverted that removal. Just a heads-up. Roodog2k (talk) 19:09, 16 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the note. In huggle, I only see the previous version and in that case the previous was vandalism which I reverted. I'm glad that everything is ok now. Tolly4bolly 19:19, 16 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

hi i need to change a pargrath in yorkie wiki beacuse its in corected — Preceding unsigned comment added by Biewer1976 (talkcontribs) 19:10, 19 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You're just vandalizing the article when you add inappropriate contents to the article. If you add something that is sourced and is related the article then your edit will be saved otherwise it will be reverted. Thanks. Tolly4bolly 19:13, 19 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Mistake

Dear friend i think you've done a mistake cause i've never contributed in this page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M.A._Jalil_Ananta
