Thanks

Thanks for this. Slightly embarrassing that I failed to realise that by fixing one thing, I'd broken another thing - namely Collect's four tildes 'activating' (once uncommented) and hence signing those comments with my name and the wrong timestamp! That could have been very confusing. Carcharoth (talk) 21:17, 3 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

No problem. =) —Locke Coletc 21:59, 3 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (File:Fotrcd-cover.jpg)

Thanks for uploading File:Fotrcd-cover.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Werieth (talk) 14:32, 7 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Soudtracks and New Age Retro Hippie

Hi, I saw that you weren't invited to the discussion on video game soundtracks, even though New Age Retro Hippie seemed to want to talk with you about it on your talk page. After getting the same treatment from me after leaving several comments on my talk page, he later started this discussion, Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Video games#Use of soundtrack cover art. There were two similar discussions about the subject last year, which began with New Age Retro Hippie wanting to have them all deleted from Wikipedia unless they were on their own page. Mostly the idea was rejected, but the image had to meet the standards of other images, and have references that other materials do.

Please read these before commenting on the new discussion, as not to rehash the same arguments. Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Video_games/Archive_96#Secondary_box_arts.2Fsoundtrack_covers and Wikipedia_talk:Non-free_content/Archive_57#RFC:_Soundtrack_covers_in_articles_about_other_media_.28films.2C_video_games.2C_etc..29 I hope you'll contribute your thoughts on the subject, their Rationale, their replacement with theme music and ogg files vs soundtrack image. Which seem to be the newest suggestions by New Age Retro Hippie. Well that's about it, although it probably won't be the last time someone decides to take a general sweep of all the files, and change things that they don't agree with.
