Use as an exhibition ship
History
In 2002 the University of Bremen hired a cargo ship called the "Geoschiff", which was used as a floating exhibition on geoscience[1] for six months.[2] Due to the success of this, the MS Wissenschaft has been used as a science exhibition ship every summer since 2003. During the exhibition, the ship visits around 30 cities, including cities such as Passau, Kiel, Stuttgart and Magdeburg.[1]
