TribePlay is an independent Dutch/Chinese video game development studio focused on creating educational applications for kids on smartphones and tablets.
Their current platforms include: iOS, Android and Windows Phone.[1]
TribePlay's office is currently based in Chengdu. and was founded by CEO Thijs Bosma in 2008.[2] The company started with 8 employees and it currently has 40 employees. [3]
As Chengdu is the home of the giant pandas, TribePlay first began using the panda as the main character of its series, Dr. Panda, with the release of Dr. Panda's Teach Me! in April 2012.[4]
Kid Education
TribePlay creates kids games with educational values that get kids familiar with life and the world around them. Emphasis is put on making games that are both fun and engaging. Along with this is their dream of making Dr. Panda into a globally trusted kids brand. [5]
