Harry Robert Stuart Maxwell (born 14 August 1994)[1] is a British Internet entrepreneur, new media journalist and former reality television participant, from Northamptonshire, United Kingdom.

Maxwell first came into the public eye in October 2011, finishing joint 3rd in the second series of British television programme, Young Apprentice, [2] where he set, and still holds, the record for survival from any global production of The Apprentice.[3]

Maxwell has worked as a presenter and blogger for Yahoo! since April 2012,[4] and has been described as 'one of the The Apprentice's biggest success stories' by British press.[5].

Early Life

Harry Maxwell was privately educated and started his education at Spratton Hall preparatory school in Spratton, Northamptonshire, and then went onto Rugby School in Warwickshire. He boarded at Rugby School in term time and lived with his mother, Jayne, during the holidays. The fees for a boarder while Maxwell was at the school were £27,000 per annum.[6]

Maxwell achieved 9 A* grades at General Certificate of Secondary Education and took A-Levels in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Geography, Economics and Extended Project.[7][8]

Maxwell started his first venture 'Tiger Tickets' at age 11, retailing spare club class Wembley Stadium tickets on behalf of ticket holders, sourcing customers via the internet and charging commission. He then discontinued the business and went on to intern at Daily Mail (age 15) before launching LetsGetReal.co.uk (age 16). The website would source properties on behalf of people looking to move home for a fee. Maxwell sold the business to a Chinese domain broker for an undisclosed sum and then launched LuxuryFiveStarHotelGuide.com.[9] The website was the only directory to feature all of England's 5* hotels and charged hotels a 12% commission for bookings. The website is no longer in operation today.[10]

Maxwell is currently studying Geography with Economics BSc (Hons) at the London School of Economics.[11]
