Scouting article work

If you are getting this, it is because you do or did work on Scouting articles (see Wikipedia:WikiProject_Scouting#Participants_and_primary_areas_of_interest).

As the Scouting WikiProject has been formed since early January 2006, we've had many great improvements made in this area of Wiki and I want to personally thank everyone for their help. We don't always agree on things, but we keep moving forward. YIS, Rlevse 22:09, 25 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Frank Nasworthy

Hi - I think you wrote some stuff on Frank's page. Can you provide a reference for the claim that Frank was "Suspended from his engineering studies"? I intend to re-write this page to make it more coherent. Steve-g 16:57, 27 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The Game process

Impressed? When it should have been deleted (as there were no sources) it was kept a few times. Then when it finally was deleted DRV was coming to the correct conclusion. The mention in De Morgen was not considered properly (imo) and the DRV was closed improperly. It probably should have been relisted/restarted. Then you have another admin recreate it and the AFD/DRV is plagued by people complaining about it being "out of process" instead of actual circumstances and issues.
To me, this saga has represented failure of "Wisdom of the Commons" along with the polar opposite of incorrect dictatorial actions, with a side of bureaucratic nonsense. Kotepho 05:56, 3 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

How does this co. meet the criteria in WP:CORP please? - CrazyRussian talk/contribs/email 21:02, 10 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

So without making me read those four links, which criterion in WP:CORP do you think it meets? - CrazyRussian talk/contribs/email 21:15, 10 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Reminder...

When using template tags on talk pages, don't forget to substitute with text by adding subst: to the template tag. For example, use {{subst:test}} instead of {{test}}. This reduces server load and prevents accidental blanking of the template. — Ian Manka Talk to me‼ 22:15, 14 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Frank Nasworthy

Thanks for the edits. It looks much better now. I think I'm going to research and re-write Tony Alva's page next Steve-g 15:45, 15 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Now that you've done some cleanup, I think you'll actually have to come down and play New Year Fest.  :) Wikibofh(talk) 23:39, 22 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Broken cat?

Hello, I just started doing the BravoFunny template which includes a category that is going to be fixed soon about an hour ago. Please give me time to get things organized before you start doing the removals. Thanks!

Clerks II

Thanks for trying to resolve the licensing problems with Image:Dandrposter.jpg. Unfortunately, you forgot to provide a detailed fair-use rationale for that image's use. You aren't obligated to do this, of course, as you are not the original uploader. I'm just mentioning that it is a requirement for Wikipedia to use a copyrighted image. --Yamla 21:03, 8 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Help me with the article

Hi, I've just created the article Skateboarding in Barcelona and as I've seen you are a skateboarder I'd like you to review it and possibly add something.--KoRnholio8 12:33, 14 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

"The nation"

The use of the phrase "the nation" in a global website really doesn't look good. At present your user page gives me the impression that you are either unaware that many (perhaps most) of the people who see it will not be American, or alternatively that you simply don't think that non-Americans count for anything. Both of these traits are all too common among your fellow Americans and they do your country's reputation no good at all. CalJW 05:55, 21 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

if links to commercial pages are not allowed then why is http://www.monsterpark.com.au posted on the half pipe page. the link that I had added for buildaramp.com is the most usefull resource for learning about half pipes that I have found and feel it should be added as a reference just as (http://www.monsterpark.com.au is. Otherwise (http://www.monsterpark.com.au should be eliminated as well. Would you agree, if not please explain to me why? Thank you for your time. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Michelle341 (talkcontribs)

Do you even skate?

Im not one to be a jerk but I don't know why you removed my entire article about half pipe construction, which I might add I was still working on. It may have looked like a guide to you but it was usefull information about halfpipes and how they are constructed. I understand your concears about spam and I respect that but get off your high horse dude, if you were a skater you would have recognized the difference. better yet why don't you get out from behind your computer and try actually skateing if you even do skate.

I spent alot of time putting that article toghether and because you felt it didn't belong you can just delete it. This place sucks, you suck, get a life. Free information my ass as long as you like it huh????
