This is an old revision of this page, as edited by 68.57.243.166 (talk) at 01:43, 5 April 2014 (→‎Fish Hooks no longer part of the "current" animated series column of Disney Channel.: new section). The present address (URL) is a permanent link to this revision, which may differ significantly from the current revision.

I think they should be merged. The pages are the same thing, there is no need to have two pages with the same information.

Disney Channel programs

If Disney Channel programs is a list of programs broadcast by The Disney Channel and produced solely by The Disney Channel, then it should remain separate and the title should be changed to "Programs produced by The Disney Channel". If it includes programs produced by other companies, then I agree with the merge. FWIW - Her Pegship 15:42, 22 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

There should be a timeline graphic for this article. íslenska hurikein #12 (samtal) 15:17, 8 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I Don't Remember These...

I don't remember Full House EVER airing on Disney Channel (though the show looks like it would/could be a good fit). Either that was way back when (i.e.: before 2000) or someone got the show confused with Growing Pains. WAVY 10 17:22, 11 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

in which countries do some of these series air on Disney Channel?

I highly doubt that these some of these series, like Camp Lazlo, air on disney channel in the united states. So if somebody could write which countries if it's one other than the U.S., and provide a source, that would be helpful.72.230.111.150 14:01, 20 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

By the above comment I mean if it's a program exclusive to one country only, and it's not a series made by Disney, put which country the show airs in.Internetcrazy69.95.18.4 19:05, 22 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Organization

This list needs to be organized like the Nick one. 67.188.172.165 19:32, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I disagree, I think that particular article is difficult to navigate and this one is quite simple. The alphabetized list of this article makes it simple to navigate. Thank You. 53180 23:47, 1 September 2007 (UTC)53180.[reply]
Then we probably should at least add parentheticals signifying which are original series as opposed to series no longer on first run anywhere. WAVY 10 Fan 17:29, 28 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I agree that we should at least seperate them into original series and syndicated ones. It would prevent viewers from being mislead by the content on the page. We could still leave it in alphabetical order to where it would still be simple to navigate. Brandude (talk) 22:51, 17 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I disagree. The title of this page is called list of programs broadcast by Disney Channel. It serves its purpose just how it is, and there is already a page just for Disney Channel original series: List of Disney Channel series. Also, the opening sentence specifically says This is a list of television programs formerly or currently broadcast by Disney Channel in US & some other countries so its clear that some are currently airing and some are formerly aired. It’s hard to tell if they'll bring something back for a while and then remove it so dates are also unnecessary and broadcast dates will be on the program articles main page. Thank You. 53180 (talk) 18:34, 19 January 2008 (UTC)53180.[reply]

I don't remember seeing Muppet Babies on Disney Channel it was on Nickelodeon (1992-September 1999) and Odyssey Network (October 1999-April 2000) is it supposed to air in the future ? Matthew Cantrell (talk) 01:25, 28 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Foreign Countries

Does the head paragraph which says "This is a list of television programs currently, rerunning, and formerly on Disney Channel in the United States and some international counterparts. Programs with countries in parentheses are shown on Disney Channel exclusively in that country only. " mean that the list should include programs exclusive to the U.S. only or varations of those shown in the U.S. as well. An example of what I mean is as follows: A Kind of Magic is shown only in France and should clearly be on the list. But if Phil of the Future, which is shown in the U.S. and in the U.K. is no longer shown here, but is still shown in the U.K., should it be in both the "Rerun Programs (No New Episodes)" list and the "Former Programs (No Longer Run On Disney Channel)" list or just the latter? Divod (talk) 06:43, 2 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Mini-Series

I think it should be included somehow, somewhere, in the main paragraph that mini-series are included in the list. Divod (talk) 06:47, 5 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The years in the Former Programs section are random, sporadic, ambiguous, and often innaccurate. If someone could help fix this problem by finding airing dates for those with none and fix the ambiguity of some of those that do (Ex. "Late 1990's- Early 2000's) it would be a great help. Another nice idea would be putting the years in (x-y in new episodes, x-z in reuns) format (for ex. see Rerun Programs). Thanks! Divod (talk) 05:26, 13 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

These are NOT still on

I watch Disney Channel, not all the time, but enough to know what is on it and what isn't. I noticed some of the shows on the list are wrong.

The Oz Kids-I don't remember EVER seeing this on Disney Channel. I don't recognize most of the shows in the "former programs" section, so it might have been on previously, but it said it airs in reruns. Timmy Time-I also don't remember ever seeing it, and it was also put under "in reruns". Also, some of the shows here are on PLAYHOUSE DISNEY. This is a big difference. —Preceding unsigned comment added by TVtriviagirl (talkcontribs) 03:09, 28 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Semi-Protect?

I think, due to all the vandalism this page gets, it should be semi-protected, much like the Disney Channel page --JohnDoe98 (talk) 21:06, 6 May 2012 (UTC) Sophia the first already happend so it is not coming up yet it has already had 2 shows maybe more — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.68.89.119 (talk) 01:00, 7 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Cleanup

I'm sorry but this page is a huge mess! Someone continues coming here and moving everything around. Shows that haven't aired new episodes in like 10+ years are getting added to the current shows list and also some are moved to the re-run list when they aren't re-running at all. This page seriously needs to be cleaned up and also may I suggest a semi-protect or a mod for this page? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ijoshiexo (talkcontribs) 23:47, 29 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I wanted to move Shake it Up to reruns as it is ending today. Shake it Up aired November 7, 2010 until November 10, 2013. RockiesFan21 (talk) 00:26, 11 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Fish Hooks series finale air date confirmed.

It's April 4, 2014, so it's not "present" anymore now that we know it's series finale air date. I know this because it was confirmed in a promo on Disney Channel.

Dipper's Guide to the Unexplained and Mabel's Guide to Life have ended.

Dipper's Guide to the Unexplained ended October 18, 2013, and Mabel's Guide to Life ended February 7, 2014. I know this because according to the promos, they said that it was "Dipper's Guide to the Unexplained Week with a week of new shorts and Mabel's Guide to Life Week again, just for that one week.

Fish Hooks no longer part of the "current" animated series column of Disney Channel.

The series finale just aired 6 minutes ago and you can erase the "series finales" column with Fish Hooks in it and you can put it in the "former programming, "original programming",", column. So now, the only animated current series' on Disney Channel are Phineas and Ferb and Gravity Falls. 68.57.243.166 (talk) 01:43, 5 April 2014 (UTC) Guest.[reply]
