Portal namespace in Sinhala Wikipedia

Okay, I've put in a feature request for you, asking for the creation of the Portal: and Portal talk: to be added to si.wikipedia.org. Please note that "soon" (current ETA: Later next month) they may be creating the Namespace Manager which will allow bureaucrats for the Wikipedia in question to create and delete namespaces without requiring assistance. I've read si:Wikipedia:කෝපි කඩේ and notice that there's a little confusion as to how you want the namespace spelled. Do you want "Portal" and "Portal talk" in English, or do you want it in Sinhala? Which spelling? ~Kylu (u|t) 22:28, 25 June 2006 (UTC)

The English wording would be just fine. We haven't reached a conclusion yet on the correct Sinhala word for "Portal" (to be used in the wikipedia). So I've informed the others that we'll use the English word for now; and that makes perfect since most of the interface related things are not yet translated in to Sinhala anyway. Logs link

I'm curious if you think it'd be worthwhile to approach Village Pump (or whoever) about adding a tab to "logs" (http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Log&user={{{1}}} or whatever) to the top of monobook.css/js for user/user talk pages. Not sure if this ever went anywhere, I added the javalink to my local settings, and have found it useful, if you haven't already, I'd start on talk section up on it in the approriate MediaWiki:*.js section, and link to it from WP:VPT. Will work on this. Sadly, at the moment, I'm stuck in a bit of a mess involving MedCab and such, but I will bring it up on VPT at the very least. After looking at the scripting and then the various .js's, it looks only appropriate for MediaWiki:monobook.js.

mmmmmmm, if you put the font tag in the visual part of the link like so:

Thanks! According to the usage logs I created this account 02:03, 24 March 2006 and my first edit (according to my contribution list was at 19:18, 2 April 2006 with this edit to Talk:Drusilla (i.e. roughly three months, though I understand some people don't count your first month...)

If you're interested in the design of my user page, I'd suggest checking the map of my userspace, probably focusing on User:Kylu/main, since it does most of the "grunt work" :)

No inconvenience, it's just that some new mediators aren't familiar with mediating within constraints. For instance, a mediator between the US and Canada can't simply give Canada some land in India that neither side has claim to, nor can we as mediators demand that an admin reverse an administrative action as part of mediation. We're just here to help the two sides of the dispute come to terms with eachother and try to compromise a way to a solution. Sounds textbook, doesn't it? ~Kylu (u|t) 01:23, 28 June 2006 (UTC)

Mistake

Kylu, When clicking on you're block log you made a mistake. When you created a link you put you're name after User:. Sadly, putting it after User: doesn't work. For you're real block log here is the [link.]
