Yocemento is an unincorporated community in Ellis County, Kansas, in the United States.

History

Yocemento had its start in the year 1906 when I. M. Yost and others built a cement plant there.[1] The name is a portmanteau of the last name Yost, and cement.[2]

A post office was opened in Yocemento in 1907, and remained in operation until it was discontinued in 1917.[3]
