File permission problem with File:The Michael McIntyre hat Show Main Set.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:The Michael McIntyre hat Show Main Set.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.  Ronhjones  (Talk) 21:31, 16 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

TV guide

You do not seem to grasp the fact that Wikipedia is not a tv guide. Don't add stuff that's going to be inaccurate real soon, like air times and recent air dates. If you're going to add broadcast information, do it in such a way that it remains accurate in the long run and is relevant to the reader. People do not go look up Irish air times for this week's episode of The King of Queens on Wikipedia, so this is not relevant. --Atlan (talk) 14:16, 22 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

May 2014

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. We always appreciate when users upload new images. However, it appears that one or more of the images you have recently uploaded or added to an article, specifically Last Forever, may fail our non-free image policy. Most often, this involves editors uploading or using a copyrighted image of a living person. For other possible reasons, please read up on our Non-free image criteria. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Werieth (talk) 15:50, 4 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox image sizes

Please stop setting infobox image sizes to 300px. Lead images should not be set to greater than 300px but when set to 300px they cause the infobox to exceed the 300px limit. This is why we normally set infonbox images to 220-275px. --AussieLegend () 18:47, 4 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

King of Queens cast.jpg

As should be apparent from the title, File:King of Queens cast.jpg contains an image of the cast, not the logo only. Non-free images should be reduced size, but 120px x 120px is too small for an infobox image. Images should not be shown at greater than their uploaded resolutions as this causes dstortions, so that would require display of the image at a width of only 120px. Accordingly, please stop changing this image as it is unconstructive at best. However, please feel free to upload an image of the logo only under a different filename with an appropriate non-free rationale. --AussieLegend () 18:52, 5 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Colour in television article infoboxes

Please do not change TV series infoboxes to use different colours to the default, a you did to Good Morning Britain (2014 TV programme). There is a long-standing consensus that only certain TV series are to use other than the default infobox colours. This is why the bgcolour and colour text are not documented at {{Infobox television}}. TV series that have been authorised to use other than the default infobox colouring are included in Template:Infobox television/colour. If you believe a TV series should use non-default colours, please gain consensus for that at Template talk:Infobox television/colour. --AussieLegend () 16:52, 30 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

How do I give these TV shows that function I think shows such as 24 should have it. User:JohnGormleyJG
As I've stated above, you need to gain consensus at Template talk:Infobox television/colour. You could also try discussing it at WT:TV but the consensus is that only very, very limited number of TV series can use colour and those series are generally only exempted from the consensus because they've used consistent colouring for a long time. --AussieLegend () 17:02, 30 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
