Merger proposal

-->Merge or delete character articles

Many of the Dukes of Hazzard characters articles I believe should be merged or deleted as many of these articles don't have third person sources to justify notabiliy. I am willing for the characters to merged to an article like List of The Dukes of Hazzard charactersDwanyewest (talk) 14:19, 29 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I object to merging Boss Hogg into this article. There are likely to be sources for the notability of this character. I would also merge Abraham Lincoln Hogg into Boss Hogg, as this character is directly intended to present a mirror of Boss Hogg. bd2412 T 23:38, 24 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

BO?

Why is it "Bo" not "Beau" which is short for "Beauregard"? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.142.98.130 (talk) 17:39, 19 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Daisy's original car was a 1974 Road Runner (not a 1973)

I fixed this a couple months ago, and someone changed it back to 1973. First of all, the source given for the year of the car links to a 1974 Road Runner (I don't know who put in that source but they were right about the year). Second, that Daisy's car is a 1974 is evident simply by looking at it. A 1973 Road Runner had slits/vents in the back of the hood, by the windshield (i.e., the cowl area, as you can see here), while a 1974 Road Runner did not (which you can see in the linked source). Daisy's original Road Runner had no slits/vents in the hood.

Here is a screenshot from the first scene in which Daisy's Road Runner was featured, from the first episode of the series: "One Armed Bandits". As you can see, there are no vents in the back of the hood, i.e., it is a 1974. I'm changing it back to 1974 so that it will agree with the linked source, as well as agree with reality itself. – MaximRecoil (talk) 04:53, 30 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

2014 auto trader commercials featuring the Dukes

Should probably get a mention under the legacy/popculture section, but I don't know hot to cite a commercial properly. Here's a youtube link, I dunno if that counts a cite or not. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1XonxZvXEPE 98.243.94.83 (talk) 19:16, 20 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
