Reasons for Non-Deletion

  1. The issue addressed, ie that it is a copy of a section from the article Mohanlal is not true. The aricle Mohanlal does have some portion of this article, namely the National Awards, the State Awards, International Indian Film Academy Awards and the Filmfare awards section. Please note that these 4 awards are really important and deserve a place in the main article. Inclusion of other awards to Mohanlal make it tediously long; at the same time the other awards shall not be treated as of less value either. That was the reson behind creatin of this article.
  2. There are over 25 similar articles in Wikipedia listing the awards of various persons. Plese see the category:[1]
  3. I agree that this article need copy-editing, which I will be done soon.

Please get back to me in case of further concerns. Thanks a lot for the policing--Anoopkn 07:56, 3 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Mohanlal chitram.jpg

Image:Mohanlal chitram.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

The image Image:Bharathamfilm.jpg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
  • That this article is linked to from the image description page.

Sections

I had splitted the article to sections for easy access and view. Adima Kannu (talk) 13:24, 4 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I dont see any actual "ease of viewing" - such short sections generally conflict with the MOS in that sections should be more than a paragraph. and the full list gives the advantage of sorting - by year, film or awarding body. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 15:48, 5 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
All such articles are splitted into section, then why not this. See other articles about awards of actors. Wikipedia actually has no rules. Its the fifth pillar. Don't make an article in the way which you feel good. SultaanPop (talk) 11:04, 6 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
