Rename this article

Please, can this article be renamed ? The official, new name, for the exhibition is ILA Berlin Air Show. This should be the entry´s name, thanks. Watch ILA Berlin Air Show - Official Website — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.231.209.1 (talk) 13:16, 27 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Oldest Air show?

The Paris Air Show wiki article ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paris_Air_Show) says it is the oldest air show, starting Sept. 25, 1909. This Germain Air article also states it is the oldest, also starting in 1909, although no actual date given. However, the following external article implies the German Air show started in 1910. I can also find no history of the actual date on the ILA offical site. http://blog.flightstory.net/1501/worlds-oldest-air-show-100th-anniversary-of-ila/

So, this statement about being oldest needs to be supported. Rickybobpat (talk) 16:15, 1 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

ILA 1909 started juli, 10th 1909. See de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internationale_Luftschiffahrt-Ausstellung_Frankfurt_1909 46.114.138.186 (talk) 09:18, 6 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Two different articles make claim to be the "oldest" airshow

Both the Paris Airshow and the ILA Berlin Airshow pages make claims to being the "oldest" airshows in existence. However, both airshows cannot be the "oldest" unless they both started on the same day. Rbpassm (talk) 16:43, 10 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Competing claims of Paris and Berlin to priority

I've rewritten the opening sections of both the Paris and Berlin air show entries to comply with Wikipedia:Neutral point of view policy. Istobe (talk) 12:58, 20 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
