Morris who?

Funny, I'd have sooner likened Madan's vocal style to that of another woman, Wendy Robinson of The Popinjays.

The NME, Morrissey and Echobelly

I think this interview with Sonya has interesting information about the relationship with the NME:

"But basically, the NME has this real love-hate thing with him (Morrissey) and, because they couldn't get to him, they wound up using us as a kicking bag instead."

Within a few months Echobelly went from cover stars to scathing reviews. On, a far more accessible album than the last, was awarded four marks out of 10.Rps (talk) 18:57, 3 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Aurora?

Way back when, I was an enormous fan of Echobelly. As far as I recall, the singer was always known as Sonya Aurora Madan. Is that an edit worth making? 86.153.149.120 (talk) 01:29, 21 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
