First comment

--I moved the defendant list here. It seems excessive and untidy for the main article.
"A number of former German soldiers of the 216th Marine-Flak-Abeitlung (Naval Flak Battalion) were tried for war crimes, as part of the US Military Tribunals at Dachau, from February 6 to March 21, 1946 (US v Kurt Goebell et al). They were charged with the unlawful execution of seven United States Army Air Force personnel who had survived the crash of their damaged B-17 on the island on April 8, 1944. Defendants included
Akkermann Jan J., Albrecht Guenther, Geyer Karl, Goebell Kurt, Heinemann Heinrich, Krolikov.ki Walter, Mammenga Gustav, Meyer-Gerhards Klaus, Pointner Johann, Rommel Heinrich, Schmitz Johann Josef (sentenced to death, executed but exonerated of the crime in 1964), Seiler Jakob, Weber Karl, Wenzel Erich (sentenced to death), Witzke Heinz" --—Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.220.107.38 (talkcontribs) 00:08, 2 November 2005

Makes sense; they are entirely non-notable, save for the war-crime. But it's reasonable not to forget what happened. Xyl 54 (talk) 22:17, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Rocket Prototype

The article states that On 19 and 20 December 1934, Wernher von Braun launched "Max" and "Moritz", the two prototypes of the A2-rocket. According to [1], though, Max and Moritz were A-2 rockets (the only A-2 rockets launched), and were prototypes leading to the V-2. DRE 22:11, 27 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Antisemitic

Borkum has been very antisemitic according to Dutch and Hebrew articles. 94.212.216.150 (talk) 16:41, 1 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
