Oliver Sean

Oliver Sean is an MTV Europe Music Awards 2012 Nominated International Portuguese Singer/Songwriter/Composer and Filmmaker who thrived in the Goa, Dubai and the UK cultures as they acted as the backdrop to his youth, and the inspiration for his music. His discography with WOA International was birthed in 1999 with his single There She Is Again at the age of 17.

His brand of music is known for its Americana Americana influence with acoustic rock, world and contemporary undertones . AVMax Magazine nominated Sean's debut album 'I Like It' for ‘International Album of the Year’ in 2003 along with albums by John Mayer, Robbie Williams, Kylie Minogue and Third Eye Blind. Oliver Sean's eclectic global music style is the trademark for his brand, and is attributed to his mixed Portuguese and Goan Lineage.

A self-taught musician, Oliver Sean is a multi instrumentalist, singer-songwriter and composer. He is a member of the Recording Academy and a Voting Member for the Grammy Awards. He has been selected by the Recording Academy three times in a row for the Grammy Nomination Ballot List for the 54th, 55th and 56th Grammy Awards.

Oliver Sean has been involved with writing music for the French Government for the tourism campaign of the Massif Region, producing music for other artists, and working on various film projects as a composer and a filmmaker, including his own music videos, that have been broadcast on International channels including MTV and Vh1. He has also composed the Soundtrack for a popular Bollywood International film 'Cutting Chai' released in 2012.

Oliver Sean's third studio album 'So Good' (2011) reached number ten on the Vh1 Top 10 for his single 'Movies' (from the So Good album) on 4 June 2011, Featured album spot at the Virgin Megastores in Dubai, Grammy nomination consideration in nine categories for the 54th Grammy Awards, a Vh1 Specials feature in India and the MTV Europe Music Awards 2012 nomination in the MTV EMA Best India/Worldwide Act category.

Oliver Sean's new single 'All I Remember' was released in the US simultaneously announcing his first major US Tour in September 2012. The music video for 'All I Remember' was a featured video on Vh1 India's music channel in January 2013. The single went on to hit the No.1 Spot on the Artist Aloud Charts (India Today Group) in January 2014.

Oliver Sean is currently on his 'Stripped Down 2015 Summer Tour' across England, New York, Costa Rica and Portugal
