Alphabet Inc. is a California-based technology holding company, the largest wholly owned subsidiary of which is Google. It is headed by the two cofounders of Google: its CEO is Larry Page, and its president is Sergey Brin.[1]
History
Alphabet was created to restructure Google. The company consists of Google Inc., YouTube, Nest Labs and Calico, as well as other businesses including Google X, Google Capital and Google Ventures.[1]
