Suryaputra Karn is an ongoing Indian mythological television series, which premiered on 29 June 2015 on Sony Entertainment Television (India) and Sony Entertainment Television Asia. The show airs Monday through Friday nights. The series is created and produced by Siddharth Kumar Tewary of Swastik Pictures. The show covers life journey of Karna, a character from the Mahabharata.[1][2]
Karanvir Bohra, Karan Grover and Karan Tacker have been approached for playing lead role of Karn.Avinesh Rekhi has also been signed for the series.[3] Mouli Ganguly is playing the role of Radha, Karna's foster mother.[4]
The channel aired the series first on Multi Screen Media's app Sony LIV, before airing on its main channel.[5]
In August of 2015, Vasant Bhatt was announced as taking the role previously held by Vishesh Bansal because the show is taking a leap forward in time.[6]
