Jagdish versus Jagadish
This person's given name appears spelled Jagadish in several places, including:
- http://grads.iges.org/people/shukla.html (his IGES "home page")
- Carl-Gustaf_Rossby_Research_Medal (redlink)
- List_of_authors_from_Climate_Change_2007:_The_Physical_Science_Basis (redlink)
Both spellings of the given name appear to be fairly common in India. I'm not sure how this should be addressed for the page title - by adding a "see" referrer, by renaming this page to the more widely used spelling Jagadish, or what. The page has been tagged as suspected autobiography; if Dr. Shukla is on WP, I'd invite his comment on his preference for the spelling. Whichever is selected, we probably need some kind of referrer from the other spelling. Birdbrainscan (talk) 03:10, 10 June 2010 (UTC)
