Crown vetch -- lotus?

[edit]

Can you please help me find which exact species the yellow flower I mistakenly identified as crown vetch is? You say lotus, but I am not sure which species within Lotus it is. Thank you. Emanla Eraton 17:10, 26 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Euphor(b)ia

[edit]

Your plant photographs, particularly of Euphorbia species, are fantastic! My bot, Polbot, has been creating new articles on species listed at the IUCN, and I've been adding images whenever one exists on Commons. And yours are very well done, and significantly contribute to the articles. Thanks! – Quadell (talk) (random) 19:14, 21 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

About your site

[edit]

Hello here

[edit]

I looked at Euphorbia here and see that you do edit pages here and thought that I should leave an apology here for suggesting that you adopt a species here on another wiki. -- carol (talk) 08:12, 9 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Euphorbiae canariensis

[edit]

I attempted to expand the article for Senecio kleinia. Actually, I did expand it. Euphorbia canariensis is a plant that grows with it. The relationship was interesting. There is a paper about it which is unfortunately written in Spanish and the translation software is not so familiar with the words. This article is the one single instance in which I linked to a gallery at the commons instead of a Category as well (which is quite interesting given all of the other situations going on here and there).

Perhaps you could take on that Euphorbia article? And any changes that should be made to the Senecio article -- this is the single experience I have with writing about succulents. -- carol (talk) 09:01, 9 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Intranzparenz rulez!! Meiner Erfahrung nach anscheinend eine deutsch-österreichische Krankheit. Woher kommt dieser fatale Trend? Wer/was leitet da zu an? Bitte um Aufklärung! Zyance (talk) —Preceding comment was added at 15:08, 9 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Um welche Schachteln geht es? Wovon schreibst Du eigentlich? -- Ies (talk) 20:27, 25 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Cyathium image...source?

[edit]

Hello, Les. I've greatly enjoyed your image of the cyathium. I was hoping that you have published it in some journal so that I may be able to cite it? After heavy searching, I have found no other image that so adequately covers the anatomy of the cyathium. Thanks much! Macaddict10 (talk) 05:37, 11 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

NowCommons: File:Monadenium spectabile ies.jpg

[edit]

File:Monadenium spectabile ies.jpg is now available on Wikimedia Commons as Commons:File:Monadenium spectabile ies.jpg. This is a repository of free media that can be used on all Wikimedia wikis. The image will be deleted from Wikipedia, but this doesn't mean it can't be used anymore. You can embed an image uploaded to Commons like you would an image uploaded to Wikipedia, in this case: [[File:Monadenium spectabile ies.jpg]]. Note that this is an automated message to inform you about the move. This bot did not copy the image itself. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 21:54, 9 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Photo usage

[edit]

Hi, I've been working on a small game built around animal quizzes and I wanted to let you know I've used one of your pictures.

I found your picture here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Dactylopius_coccus_(Barlovento)_04_ies.jpg

And I attributed the picture like this: Frank Vincentz and also added a link to the license: http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/deed.en

I hope you're happy with it, please let me know if this is not the case. You can find the game here: http://apps.facebook.com/animalalbum Or through here: http://www.facebook.com/pages/AnimalAlbum/156339584490672

Kind regards, Garfunkel Jansen (talk) 09:46, 5 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
