Latino-Review; not a reliable source

Latino-Review is not a reliable source on Wikipedia. They have guidelines to include such information from Latino-Review, but, unless it is confirmed by a third-party source (I.E. Variety, The Hollywood Reporter, Deadline, The Wrap, ect) it will not be included on any pages, even a draft page. Also for you sources for Dylan, they are not remotely close to being reliable in the slightest. Wait until something official is released, until then stop making poor edits to the pages. Trip and Farvv (sp) reverted your edits for a reason. If you'd like to discuss the inclusion of your information, go to the Talk page for the Spider-Man film and discuss it with them. Hey

Sorry to learn that you left so soon. Was hoping that you'd go on with the Star Wars renaming project. I could advise you not to get mixed in too many disputes at once and go about them once at a time in case you choose to return. If you need help with the renaming of the original Star Wars films, I'm willing to help. Hope you come back and fulfill your goals, or even take a break first. Best wishes--Nadirali نادرالی (talk) 00:05, 20 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I just came back an hour ago basically LOL but I'm think I'm done trying to rename them it's not going to work no matter how you put it. Eric - Contact me please. I prefer conversations started on my talk page if the subject is changed 00:10, 20 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Yay! Glad you're back. I was going to leave a note but didn't know if we can leave notes on retired pages. I think you may be right about the film names (except for the first, which will always be 'Star Wars'), but there seems to be a solid core of fan-editors who are set on the truncated names for the others. Randy Kryn 00:40 20 March, 2015 (UTC)
I disagree. Me and a lot of people I know call it Episode IV: A New Hope Eric - Contact me please. I prefer conversations started on my talk page if the subject is changed 00:43, 20 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I know, but 'Star Wars' is the very common name for the film, probably too common to ever change the thing. The problem is that the other films took so long to be made that the original 'Star Wars' is set in either stone or quicksand as 'Star Wars'. That aside, yay, you came back! Let me know of other issues you are working on, I can't put in an opinion on all of them but there are usually some which cross my threshold of "Sure, I'll comment on that one". Randy Kryn 00:55 20 March, 2015 (UTC)
@Randy Kryn:, I still disagree. Maybe you're too old (no offense, you must look at the perspective) to understand a lot of people will go "which one?" if you ask them if you have seen Star Wars. And you could comment on Talk:Marvel Cinematic Universe. Eric - Contact me please. I prefer conversations started on my talk page if the subject is changed 01:52, 20 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
To quote Han Solo "it'll work" but you acted prematurely. Fighting a battle without planning does not give victory. The rebels fought with a plan and they destroyed the death star both times, and that's what's required from us. But for now I recommend you take a break. Remember my older tips. We can achieve this provided everyone in favor of it is informed before hand and we draw in more people who are not fans to cast a logical so the fan boys have nothing to support. Take a look at Trash Bag Bunch, a stub I created. People who didn't want it kept blanking it and giving misleading statements that the community consensus was 'redirect' when it clearly wasn't. Turns out they couldn't impose their interpretation of consensus. This is Wikipedia. You gotta fight for logic and common sense here. If you don't your previous efforts will be for nothing :-)--Nadirali نادرالی (talk) 03:48, 20 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, times heals all wounds. Eric, you are probably right about the age thing, those of us around when the first 'Star Wars' came out still think of it as 'Star Wars', while the youngsters fresh out of diapers (hahahahaha) would view it as you do. So in time your view will overcome and prevail over the naysayers, so maybe be content with that knowledge for now. In the meantime, have a look at the talk pages of Lawrence Textile Strike and Seattle General Strike, where blood again flows in the streets and, in the first one, women raised the "Bread and Roses" banner high. Yours in peace and war, Randy Kryn 11:24 20 March, 2015 (UTC)
I can't seem to ever get people to reply to even my RfC, trust me, it'll never work. Eric - Contact me please. I prefer conversations started on my talk page if the subject is changed 19:35, 20 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I noticed that myself. RFC's are extremely slow nowadays. I think I haven't used the right template. I'll check with the help desk in the next few days to see what options we can take to get a broad scale rfc. At the moment, I think leaving notifications 2-3 weeks in advance of a move request will be a good solution and also request an admin that an rfc be given a lengthy time while using the fact that several move requests were made in the past. You just take it easy for now. Take a wiki-break. Grab a Star Wars DVD and just chillax. Or watch some fan films online. Re: Genres on I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love

Hi. I'd just like to let you know that there has been consensus for a while that all My Chemical Romance sub-pages should leave genres out of the infobox and instead work them into the article body (if necessary). This cuts down on the edit-warring and debates over genres. Thanks. Friginator (talk) 23:11, 6 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Did that consensus consider using the genres they are sold under? I mean, we are suppose to use WP:COMMONSENSE. Thanks. Eric - Contact me please. I prefer conversations started on my talk page if the subject is changed 23:11, 6 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
By "Sold Under", what do you mean exactly? Different stores put different labels on the merchandise they sell, especially music. Those labels are hardly reliable sources for the content of the product itself. There's been a lot of genre-warring on these articles and keeping genres in the article itself instead of the infobox cuts down on the number of disputes. I would say common sense is to stop giving people something to fight over, which is exactly what the genre parameter in the infobox does. And to be honest, I don't see why the genres you're adding are important to the article. Friginator (talk) 23:29, 6 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Station stuff

Since you participated in the RM discussion at Talk:Greenbelt Station#Requested move 7 February_2015, you may have thoughts worth commenting on at the related RFC at Wikipedia talk:Naming conventions (US stations)#RfC: some proper talkin' about station title conventions, including especially the survey at Wikipedia talk:Naming conventions (US stations)#Simpler questions / concise survey. If so, please comment there. Dicklyon (talk) 05:25, 10 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Use of non-free images in articles

Non-free logos are only permitted on the article about the team itself. We can't be using non-free team logos on all the individual season articles. Please have a read over WP:NFC (specifically WP:NFCI) to see why this is the case. Canuck89 (chat with me) 23:18, October 5, 2015 (UTC)

Basically, it comes down to the difference between copyright and trademark. Simple logos, such as ones that only consist of words like "Sox", are too simple to be copyrighted. Others, like the Jays, and the Yankees, are non-free, and ineligible to be used on the individual season pages. Have a look at WP:LOGOS for more information. I am so sorry

I didn't realize you were still active here. I found a bunch of your old drafts via Category:Stale userspace drafts and accidentally blanked User:Kamek98/Alex Garcia and User:Kamek98/Battle of Changli. I've reverted those. -- Ricky81682 (talk) 08:08, 8 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Qing Dynasty illustrations taken from Gongjin's Campaign Memorials

Hello Kamek98, I noticed you uploaded a lot of images from the Qing text Zengxiang quantu Sanguo yanyi a while back. The way they are scanned and editted afterwards to remove scan effects clearly shows that you took all of these images from Gongjin's Campaign Memorials, where the were originally uploaded. Unfortunately, cause of it being a Wiki(a), you are allowed to just copy/paste everything you want from there. However, it would be very much appreciated, and to be honest rather fair as well, to at least mention Gongjin's Campaign Memorials at least somewhere, be it on Wikipedia or Wikimedia. Believe it or not, but it actually was a lot of effort to get all those images online in the state they are now!

Regards, A GJCM contributor

I apologize. But there are a lot of them posted and it would be tiresome to go back and add that to all of them. I'll go back sometime and start adding some credit to GJCM. Eric - Contact me please. Well thanks, it's not that much of work really. Certainly a lot less then uploading them here. regards
