Dominic Breazeale (born August 24, 1985) is an American professional boxer. As an amateur he fought at super heavyweight[1] and was the number one rated U.S. amateur boxer in the division.[2] As a former quarterback on the football team at the University of Northern Colorado, Breazeale qualified for the 2012 Olympics but lost in the preliminary round to Magomed Omarov.[3][4]

Amateur career

Breazeale won the 2012 U.S. National Super Heavyweight championship at the Fort Carson Special Events Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado.[5] He lost in the first round of the London Olympics, 19-8.

Professional career

He is currently 17-0 as a professional, with 15 wins coming by KO. He is fighting under Al Haymon's PBC banner. He is from Alhambra, CA, but currently, makes his home in Anaheim CA. He will will fight Anthony Joshua on 25 June 2016 for the IBF World Heavyweight title.
