Moving deletion of File:Holbrookssmall.jpg

Hi,

This morning you deleted Wikipedia's version of File:Holbrookssmall.jpg, which makes me unable to view that version. I had relevant source and author information, but apparently when Skb8721 transferred the file to Commons, he neglected to transfer that. Are you able to view and replace that missing information? Thanks. ɱ (talk · vbm · coi) 15:53, 19 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@: The description on Commons is exactly the same as it was on English Wikipedia; nothing has been omitted. Maybe your confusion is because Skb8721 removed the infobox on English Wikipedia immediately after his first upload?Magog the Ogre (tc) 01:39, 21 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Admins going against me; becoming an administrator?

The Rambling Man, JHunterJ, KrakatoaKatie, BethNaught... What do they have in common? They find me bothersome and a waste of time. They think I must put a lot of effort to build their trust? They think Wikipedia might be fine without me? If neither, and if that's not the case, what is wrong with me? I attempted to do another editor review until I realize it is inactive and historical. For some time, I resisted on becoming an administrator, but I have second thoughts. Unfortunately, I fear that consensus may go against my request to become an administrator. How do I earn chances to become an administrator? Cleaning up my acts? What else? --George Ho (talk) 08:44, 23 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@George Ho: well what are they saying you're doing wrong? Magog the Ogre (tc) 17:19, 24 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
... I think I can handle it myself. I just got angry and frustrated; that's all. --George Ho (talk) 23:22, 24 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

SMcCandlish and TRM think I should stop "canvassing" with administrators and/or others. I don't know what he meant, but I just notified editors without feeling I did anything wrong, like violating it. What should I do? Shall I go with what they want me to do? --George Ho (talk) 19:04, 27 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Here's something: stop looking for problems all over Wikipedia. Work on impoving articles, or making it a better experience for readers rather than just continually trying to niggle away at trivial issues. The Rambling Man (talk) 19:13, 27 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

When being an admin you need to react to criticism well. If several people criticize you and you don't understand why it is problematic for an admin. HighInBC 01:14, 28 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@HighInBC: Was it directed toward me or TRM? George Ho (talk) 21:31, 28 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
You George. TRM knows all about how much admins get critized, like me. HighInBC 02:17, 29 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
