Orphaned non-free image File:6 Princess Peaches?!.jpeg

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:6 Princess Peaches?!.jpeg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 12:47, 24 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Would it be okay if I put it in the Mario Kart 8 page? I was going to put it there also. DatNuttyWikipedian (talk) 13:50, 24 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Non-free rationale for File:Mario Kart 8 starting screen.jpeg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Mario Kart 8 starting screen.jpeg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 08:12, 25 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Stefan2:The second one, with Mario I want it deleted asap. DatNuttyWikipedian (talk) 13:25, 25 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

If you want one of your own uploads deleted, then tag it with {{db-g7}}, or you can just wait for one week. --Stefan2 (talk) 14:14, 25 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

About my first file.

Stefan2, the first file, with 6 Princess Peaches, I put a message on your Talk page regarding about that image, 2 other people is augueing with me, I even told one of them the true source of the image, which was: https://nookipedia.com/wiki/File:6_Princess_Peaches%3F!.jpg and still saying that the image shouldn't be on Wikipedia, I think the opposite. DatNuttyWikipedian (talk) 19:12, 25 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

This is not appropriate as the file doesn't satisfy WP:NFCC#8. --Stefan2 (talk) 19:33, 25 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Well, Stefan2, I have it on my User page, but after a while, it changes to a question mark. Im using it as a personal image, if it doesn't go on the mainspace. DatNuttyWikipedian (talk) 01:27, 26 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hey DatNutty - Wikipedia has a different image policy than Nookipedia. On Nookipedia, users are allowed to upload some personal images, even if they're non-free. Wikipedia has stricter rules regarding non-free images, which is why you cannot upload any copyrighted files for your userpage like you can on Nookipedia. ~SuperHamster Talk Contribs 01:55, 8 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Bot "vandalism"

Hi there - I'm not sure what you mean with this edit. The bot's message is valid; it's informing Smallbones of mismatched parentheses. ~SuperHamster Talk Contribs 02:58, 23 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi; I'm not used to using users' talk pages, so apologies if I break general etiquette.

I'm unsure why you reverted this edit on the Women in the Middle Ages article.

To clarify, is it your contention that the average life expectancy of a woman in that era was 250 years, and that men's was significantly more than 250 years?

If so, this contradicts the information available in the article on general human life expectancy, and the information provided on gender differences that is consistent with those numbers. (It lists the average expectancy in the European Middle ages as 30, and notes that due to maternal death, women's would have been lower.)

Given this information, 25 years seems much more reasonable than 250, and I am sure that "250" was a typo in the original article.
